A reception announcing the naming of the “James C. Metzger / E. David Woycik, Jr. Endowment Fund” was held at the Garden City Coun-try Club on March 11th, 2010. The naming was in honor of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI) Board Members and strong supporters, James Metzger of The Whitmore Group and E. David Woycik, Jr. of Sanders Sanders Block Woycik Viener & Grossman, P.C.

The Endowment Fund was created to provide a secure �nancial base for the agency. The combined gift from James Metzger and David Woycik was the single largest contribution in the history of the agency, and will assist in the �nancial resilience of BBBSLI after the economic downturn that damaged many non-pro�ts across Long Island.

“The naming of the fund is in recognition of James Metzger and David Woycik’s outstanding contribution to the Endowment Fund as well as their tireless dedication to our agency’s mission,” said William Tymann, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island.
