Dear friends and music lovers,
Dedicated to classical music the 5th edition of Batumi MusicFest will be held from 2nd to 8th of
September 2017 in Batumi, Georgia, the magical city beside the Black Sea.
We are proud to announce that this year festival is held under the high patronage of UNESCO.
Since its creation the Festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection
of Georgia and the Ministry of Culture of Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
My thanks to the international missions and Embassies in Georgia for collaboration and support.
The festival will present internationally renowned soloists and also several gifted young musical
prodigies.
Batumi MusicFest is one of the most important cultural events of Georgia, where artists of
different cultures gather to create musical excellence.
One of the main ideas of the festival is to broaden the power of cultural dialogue. As UNESCO
Artist for Peace, I believe that music has the ability to unify people and become one of the
important bridges for building peace around the world.
An amazing Concert Hall of Batumi Music Center will create a unique ambiance for music lovers.
Looking forward to meet you dear audience!
