ii
Once upon a time, in a country that was so
desolate & dreary, named Blockbuster City,
there was a strong young man who has a hobby for combating
crimes. He had no money & no job, so he
filled his day with surrounding the city,
looked for strange people that lately
disturb villagers. He tried to find criminals
who harass him & other people. He was known
as a hero. He is powerful & he can bites any
criminals with just one punch. He was named
Carlo Western. 1
2
He lived in simple rented flat, which was the only residence
available in the town. He had no job too so, he often got into trouble with the rent money collectors who was fierce. One night, someone knocked his door. It was the old woman, the
owner of the rented flat, “You have to pay your rent as soon as possible, Carl! I’ll give you
deadline until 2 am, the day after tomorrow. I’ll be here! If you can’t pay your rent,
you’ll be excluded from this flat & you’ll sleep under
the bridge!” said the old woman. “I got it!“, Carlo answered.
3
Sometimes, the old woman sent gangsters to threat
him, in order to force Carlo to pay his rent. Frequently,
he was beaten by the gangsters because he could
not pay the rent on time, but he always managed to find ways to avoid them.
4
In the town where he was staying, Carlo didn’t have any friend or family, except an old
tailor called Mr. Jack, who contracted at a stall near his
flat. They often talk & lament about the problems in their life. They complained about the crime in the city which
increasing lately.
“This town has become horrible. It’s not safe
anymore. There are too many criminals are here. Start from strange people & fugitives roaming on,
until some thief who stole small trading stalls’
license.”, Mr. Jack explained.“Yes. There are too many stalls built, but almost all
of them closed & bankrupted. The rental
price for trading was too expensive. Residents in
the town were rarely left the house & rarely
spoken. Unemployment increased. Many people were moving to another
city. It’s such a disaster!“ Carlo answered.
5
Mr. Jack had the same fate with Carlo. He often visited by the debt
collector. The deadline for payment of his rent was 5 more days left. The tailor grumbled about the matter to
Carlo.
“Some debt collectors meet me today, Carl. I
was afraid. The deadline to pay off is 5 more days ahead. I can’t imagine
how to pay that.”, said Mr. Jack.
6
Carlo felt so sad for Mr. Jack. He felt required to help the tailor out of the trouble that happened. The
instinct of heroism to fight crime inside Carlo emerged. Combined with the condition of many stalls
which closed in the city, Carlo determined to investigate all of
these disasters.
7
Supplied with strength, courage, and ingenuity, Carlo was trying to investigate who was the owner of
the rented in this mysterious town. Mr. Jack gave the address of the debt collectors’ headquarters to
Carlo.“Mr. Jack, do you know
where is their address?” Carlo asked.
“Yes, I have their calling card. Here you are.“ said Mr
tailor. Then, he gave it to Carlo.
8
Carlo immediately conducted an investigation & hunted for
information. Carlo rushed to the location of the debt collectors’
headquarters based on the address that was given by Mr. Jack. The area of the debt collectors’ headquarters was very quiet & scary. There was a
man dressed in black passed him by.
9
Carlo has already passed several roads. He stopped right in front of the boarding house complex near the debt collectors’ headquarters.
He asked each person & the occupants of the room who were in
boarding house. “Excuse me? Can you tell me where the owner of
the trading market’s house is?“, Carlo asked.
“I’m sorry.”, the residents there ignored Carlo’s question.
10
Carlo was annoyed. He challenged them to do a fight. Eventually he had managed to
beat every occupant of boarding house that actually
the fugitives. He can eliminate all the residents of the boarding house who
apparently are criminals & fugitives at once.
11
Finally, Carlo found the debt collector. Carlo immediately
requested to the debt collector to restore the license contract stall of
Mr. Jack & to reduce the cost of rented flat, also trading stalls at
the town. He explained about the situation at the town, strange
creatures, & fugitives roaming on until some thief who stole small trading stalls’ license. Then, he asked them to prevent these
disasters.
12
“Sir, you must listen to me. This country has become
horrible. There are too many criminals, too many
bankrupted merchant. You must stop this condition!”,
complained Carlo. After some time Carlo took some words of complaint, the debt collector refused
him. “ I won’t do that. It didn’t help me earn money. “, the
debt collector answered.
13
Carlo didn’t satisfy with the decision of the debt collector. With his power, Carlo had torn the debt collector
clothes which were worn during the argument with Carlo. Before the fight, the debt collector turned into a strong
yet funny pink koi. Carlo was taunting him, “Hey! You look like hentai. Hahaha!“.
14
The debt collector got very mad. Finally, Carlo won the
fight. Carlo was able to get back the trading license stall of the
Mr. Jack.
15
16
Carlo was thinking to bring all his catch to old woman so that he can pay off, because he have
defeated all those criminals that might been able to hurt
that old woman.
All the criminals who had been defeated by Carlo
was tied & pulled within one. Carlo was thinking to pay off all his debts to the old woman who lived at the first floor of his flat, the owner of his rented
flat.
Carlo arrived to flat. He knocked the door & smiled
happily, because he thought the debt would be paid off with
catching the fugitives.
Carlo was unlucky. Carlo was expelled by old woman instead, because the fugitives were the
messengers of the old woman, who had been the source of her income.
Carlo expelled from his flat too.“CARLO! HOW COULD YOU
DO THIS?! They are the messengers of my
income!! You are stupid! Get out from my flat!”, the
old woman screamed.17
Superhero finally faced the disappointment. Even got
expelled, he still had spirit. He immediately rushed to the Mr. Jack stalls to tell
what happened & restore the trade license. Carlo didn’t have any place to stay longer, but the Mr. Jack helped Carlo, with letting him stayed at his
house.
18
Mr. Jack felt that he had to take a rest first. He was thinking to
close his stalls. Carlo immediately rejected that. He
didn’t agree, because there would be no one to talk
together anymore, no one to sew his clothes if it was torn,
and no one would took care of him, like the tailor did.
“Mr jack, you can’t leave me! You’re the
only person I can trust. How could you do this
to me?”, said Carlo. 19
That’s his decision. “I’m sorry, Carl. I’m just too old to do job. I have to enjoy my life. I have decided to live at the coastline area. I know you’re a strong man.
Take care yourself.”, said Mr. Jack.
20
Before he closing his stall, he gave his handmade
superhero clothes to Carlo. The costume has Carlo’s
favourite colour, white. Carlo gladly accepted that. He felt so happy yet sad because of the Mr. Jack was leaving. “I will not forget you Mr jack. Find your
own happiness!”, Carlo screamed.
21
Finally, he had become a real superhero with that costume.
Carlo went away to fix the world, whether Mr. Jack live
happily near the coastline. They parted with forced forever.
