Week 1 - Loft

Created loft surface with 4 different curve lines (fig 1). This is my very first time experience for Grass-hopper and I realized that it is very convenience tool when you know how to use it properly.

When we use Grasshopper, we could save time and simplify process of de-sign.

Fig 3 : use same 4 curve lines but make loft by different order

Fig 3 shows that interesting result. These 3 objects used exactly same 4 curved lines but turns out very different forms when changed connect-ing order between 4 curved lines. If these lines iden-tify by number from left to right, left object connect-ed (1->2->3->4), middle ob-ject connected (2->1->3->4) and right object connected (1->4->2->3).

From this result, I learnt order command also impor-tant to determine what shape I want such as smoothly con-nected or interconnected or overlapped form.

Above Figure 4 shows 6 dif-ferent shapes that applied different type from loft op-tion object from left side to right side increase type number using slider input. It was 0 to 5 due to only can select till 5.

I create unexpected shape during practicing after tutorial video. At that time I was tried to understand loft option such as Reverse, Flatten, Graft, Simplify and Reparameterize.However, still these functions are not familier to me.
