FAQsCan I Change Stations at Any Time or Do I Need to Stick to the Schedule? The schedule can be changed at any time using the operator website or you can create a temporary station override using the Co-Pilot app.

What Happens if a Song Comes on I Don’t Want to Hear?You can reject songs using your jukebox remote or Co-Pilot app.

How Do I Let My Patrons Make Jukebox Selections?The jukebox is always ready for the next patron selection. When a selection is made, it immediately stops the background music to play their selection. Jukebox selections will always take priority over the background music.

Do I Need to Install or Maintain Additional Equipment?No, your background music plays right through the jukebox. Once your jukebox is enabled for background music and your stations are scheduled, you don’t need to do anything further.

Is the Music Licensed?Yes, all of our music is fully licensed for commercial use.

Can I pause the Background Music During Live Events at My Venue?Yes, you can use the Special Event Switch to keep the background music on hold during your event.

Can I Control Who Has Access to Changing the Background Music Channel?Your operator can add additional Location Managers. Once you have Location Manager access, you can also add users with the “Manage Other Users” permission.

Anything Else I Should Know?Yes. If your staff is in the habit of connecting their devices to the sound system to play their own downloaded music or a streaming service, they should be instructed not to do that. Music from their personal devices most likely is not licensed for public performance and you could get fined. In addition, when patrons play music it won’t come through and your patrons will leave dissatisfied. “I didn’t hear my song” is the most common complaint we receive at AMI.
