• Our class rules are:– Be respectful

– Be responsible

– Be prepared

– Be safe

Rules and Responsibilities• All rules are in addition to the School

Wide Disciple Policy.

• Your child’s responsibility is to follow all school and classroom rules.

• All adult personnel have the right to enforce school rules.

School Wide Discipline• Breaking school rules = 1 check

• 3 checks = 1 strike

• 3 strikes in a month = detention

• 5 homework slips = detention

• Severe Infraction Clause, If student has inappropriate physical contact of any kind and/or uses unacceptable verbal language, an automatic strike will be handed out in addition to any other consequences Mr. Doi sees fit according to Central Dauphin School District’s Code of Conduct.

• Discipline review board sits with the child after 3 strikes and continued behavior.

• 3 more strikes, the parents and Discipline review board have a meeting.

* Please read and sign the Code of Conduct Books!

Think/Detention Sheets• Sheets must be signed by the parents

• Students will lose recess until sheets are returned

• A student’s loss of recess is not counted as time served or as a substitute for detention.

Buybacks

• This year the school has implemented a buy back system. In this system students can use rave to earn back strikes, detentions, and rewards. The student must earn the raves for good behavior after the incidents happened. The buyback is so students can attend the monthly reward. Students who serve detention, but would like to attend the celebrations may use the buybacks to do so.

Buy Back

•  Strikes – 10 raves accumulated after the date of the check.

• Detention – 15 raves accumulated after the date of the detention.

• Homework detention – 15 raves accumulated after the date of the detention.
