PROGRAMME OVERVIEWThe Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Production (Honours) programme is not a standard degree in production. In addition to learning the fundamental principles, tools, processes, and techniques in digital media production, students learn practical skills in video production, audio production, and other technologies within digital media arts. This ensures

that students are prepared to meet the needs of the current media landscape within digital technology.

With this programme, our aim is to produce students who are well equipped with the creative and technical skills in audio-visual production and transmedia applications across multiple platforms. Our approach produces graduates who are agile, and can stay relevant in a continuously advancing society.

We, at the Faculty of Communication, Arts & Media, aim to produce graduates who have the utmost capacity for breaking frontiers and overcoming barriers in their professional lives.

Malaysian Students | 8 semesters International Students | 8 semesters

DURATION OF STUDY

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Malaysian Students• Pass STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in

any two (2) subjects, or its equivalent; and a credit in English at SPM, or its equivalent; OR

• Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, or its equivalent; and a credit in English at SPM, or its equivalent; OR

• Matriculation/Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent; and a credit in English at SPM, or its equivalent; OR

• Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in five (5) subjects including English; OR

• A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; and a credit in English at SPM, or its equivalent; OR

• A Diploma in Media and Communication (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent;

Note:The credit requirement at SPM level for candidate in categories (i), (ii), (iii) and (v) can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM / STAM / Diploma / Matriculation / Foundation are equivalent or higher.

International Students• A-Level with minimum of Grade D in any two (2)

subjects, or its equivalent; and a credit in English at O-Level, or its equivalent; AND

• Achieve a minimum score of 5.0 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or its equivalent.
