Baby Wash Cloth

This is yet another baby shower gift, it’s simple and quick made out of 100% cotton and done in seed stitch so it has some great texture for all those scrubbing needs. For those of you who have had the pleasure of using a hand knitted wash cloth you know the luxury of this. Knowing I was going to give this as a gift I made 6 washcloths and picked up a rubber ducky at my local H-E-B for a little icing on the cake.

Cast on 24

Row one- establish seed stitch (*K, P, K, P*)

Row two- cont. seed stitch (*P, K, P, K*)

To make the braid along the edge K the last St of every row and Sl St the first St Pearlwise of every row.

Continue in Seed St for 35 rows

Cast off. Weave in ends
