Help celebrate “National Breast Cancer Awareness Month” by wearing your pink outfits. Staff is also allowed to wear “Pink”. We will pick a winner for best “Pink” Resident. Music by Steve Middents Halloween Bash “Halloween Costume party” will occur on October 16 th from 6-8pm in the Gathering Place. Staff is encouraged to dress up. Steve Wayne will be here with his great voice and showmanship. Halloween Dress Up “Halloween Dress Up” Happy Hour will take place on the 31 st of October. Nancy will sing and host our “Halloween Party. All staff are encouraged to dress up also. We will announce the three best outfits. Pizza Party “Pizza Party” Happy Hour will be on the 17 th of October. Almost everyone loves pizza! We will have plain cheese pies and you put on all the topping you like! Music styling’s by Al on piano and mini-trumpet. Sing Along “Sing Along” Happy Hour will be on the 10 th of October. Kathy and Ken will lead a sing along featuring songs from the 20’s to the 60’s. Song sheets will be passed out along with some great snacks. Oktoberfest “Oktoberfest” Happy Hour is set for the 24 th of October. Bruce Ralg will perform great German classics and wear his lederhosen! We will offer Sauerkraut and Bratwurst. The Barrington Birthday Bash Let’s wish a Happy Birthday to all our Residents with an October birthday. We will celebrate with music by Craig Balden. Craig plays piano, guitar, banjo and accordion! Plus we will have cake and a special toast. All are welcome to enjoy this festive occasion. This is on the third Wednesday of the month, October 15 th at 3pm in the Gathering Place.
