EDITORIAL 1

That bible of "funny goings on", the Fortean Times, has come out with an interesting remark in its current edition, No 77. Of all the strange phenomena reported - only crop circles and the current bout of religious hysteria or "rolling in the aisles" can be witnessed by one and all. We know these things are happening, but everything else is more or less subject to anecdotal evidence or dodgy photographs. Perhaps there is a link between the religious thing and the very large number of crop circles seen during 1994?

Having said that, what evidence can we provide to support the evidence of UFOs being some kind of spacecraft of a physical structure with equally solid occupants? An ample opportunity arose this year with the claimed UFO crash that took place in the north of England, possibly in November 1993. Data Research has tried to establish some facts relating to this case, but as usual not a jot of firm evidence has come out. A rather interesting compilation of what we can gather is set out inside. It has the contents of almost every UFO fantasy, with animal mutilations, "men-in-black", time losses etc, etc. It all sounds too "cooked" to be the real thing, but convince me otherwise.

Following on this, we have obtained full details of the USAF investigation into the Roswell Crash of July 1947. It was forced into the open under pressure from New Mexico congressman, Steven H. Schiff. Parts of the highly predictable report are set out for you inside - sorry its too long to include it all. Reaction from the UFO community is equally predictable - "whitewash n I

"cover-up" etc. If anything tangible is ever to develop from Roswell, it may need a totally new approach with entirely neutral investigators not tied to government or armed forces, and not wishing to make a fat profit from yet another book on the subject!

Just in case there are no true facts in this magazine, I have put together some material on the V2 rocket crashes which have their rather infamous 50th anniversary, this very Autumn. The German weapon of mass destruction was kept top secret for 2 months - it had to be as who could possibly tell the public that something there was no defence to might fall on their homes at any time of day or night without any warning whatsoever! This is the first true case of an invasion from space, and should be compared to similar claims of government cover-ups in more recent years.

The long awaited book on British abductions, "Without Consent" by Philip Mantle and Carl Nagaitis has now been published. Material from Contact lnt. files is included so do try to obtain a copy. What is surprising is that the British abductions total only about 40 cases compared tu many thousands in the USA. This is certainly outside the population ratio of about 1 to 5, so does British reserve prevent more cases emerging, or is it hogwash anyway? The answer might lie in the fact that Americans consider psychiatric consultations as a normal part of life, whereas the British feel embarrassed about these things. I notice that Awareness has not included much abduction material for some time, so if any reader is holding back an interesting experience, we need to hear about it.

Finally we have some very exciting news about energy life-forms appearing on photographs. These are not visible to the human eye and have only been recorded at dusk on dull days over a field in the west of England. As well as circles which have been reported before, there are now SQUARES, HEXAGONS and OVOIDS! The latest news is reported in side.

NEW ENERGY LIFE FORM DISCOVERY ?

Startling photographs of what appears to be intelligent energy entities are being produced almost continuously at a secret location in the West of England. The field has been monitored from August 19th to date, and over 100 photographs have so far found to have the anomalies present. These shots have been examined by the editor of Awareness and 2 of them kindly presented to Contact International.

In view of the continuous nature of this research and the possible important conclusions that may arise, we are not divulging the identity of the people involved or the locations until later. In the meantime Contact Int. will endeavour to obtain similar results at other places operating under conditions that give favourable results at the original site.

What happens is that photographs are taken across a wheat field just at dusk in dull weather. Nothing can be seen by the cameraman's eyes but on developing the films energy forms are appearing on the prints. There is some indication of activity in the field as flashes and twinkles

, of light can sometimes be subliminally picked up, but these are so rapid that the eye cannot focus on them. We understand that nothing happens in clear skies . The duller it is the better, and the very best results have been achieved on a very wet evening on September the 23rd. Cheap cameras succeed better than complex/electronic ones.

The above notes will obviously lead to the suspicion that moisture on the camera lens or in the atmosphere is the cause of the anomalies, and we invite experts in the photographic field to comment. Those who are operating the cameras state they have eliminated all possibilities of deception and continue to takP. shots in good faith.

There have been tell-tale signs of unusual activity in the target field, with the phenomena of "dragon's feet" recorded before the wheat was harvested. This is believed to be related to the crop circle phenomenon, but no circles turned up this year at the same place although they have in previous years. Cattle in neighbouring fields appear agitated on good result nights.

A number of past photographs have revealed circular anomalies over crop circles and some near Silbury Hill not over crops, but at the beginning of September a new camera introduced to the site developed as SQUARES!! Every single entity on the picture ranging from intense and quite opaque to almost transparent or microscopically small was a square. This camera has continued to produce squares subsequently. Some of them have corners chopped off and other irregularities. A further camera then created HEXAGONS, and another OVOIDS or almond shapes. Just what is happening defies logic. The interpretation of what is there is being decoded in different ways by individual cameras! On the night of Sept 23rd 1994, 24/24 pictures with one camera came out all showing circular features and 24/24 pictures from a second camera taken at the same time revealed squares! Numbers and intensities of objects varied within each of the 48 shots.

Further mind-boggling pictures are still being taken with claims that the energy forms have taken the shape of a face. There is a definitely a response to the presence of the photographers as the results become more and more bizarre. Clusters of entities are seen surrounding members of the team on film, but they are totally unaware of them in reality.

THE SILBURY HILL CE lli ENCOUNTER 31/7/94

by M. Soper

3

Introducing a high quality Close Encounter of third kind which occurred on July 3 1st 1994 at the top of Silbury Hill, A4, Wilts. Sonya, Jamie, Paul, Rob and another male witness were expecting a pleasant evening on top of Silbury Hill, Avebury and arrived at about 1 1 .00pm : as Sonya, writes: "The sky was beautiful and clear, there was a slight wind, ... , warm ... as the time passed we started to walk about the hill. There were few other people .. . we never spoke to them . . . we all started to notice a mist/fog rolling down the road from the direction of the car park. !Sonya later agreed the fog had the smell of burning wood or rubber). Within a few minutes the fog was totally around us. We coUldn't see the stars or the moon. The whole atmosphere had changed. The wind stopped still ... quite oppressive. Everybody on the hill shone torches into the fog . . the light was thrown back and you could see water in the air ... quite a sight.

"Our friend Kenny had parked his car in the lay-by at the bottom of the hill. About 2am when he left we watched him !get into J his car . He turned the lights on and started to flash them on and off, again as with the torches, !this) looked great. We watched lhimJ drive off down the road and into the fog. n

"Just after Kenny left, the fog seemed to get a lot 'darker' and 'heavier'. The atmosphere really got intense. We all decided to play a bit of music to ease the mood. IWeJ sat down on the hill, beside the tape-deck and started talking ... n

"Then there were two bright orange lights moving around the hill ... I can't say where exactly they sta;ted from as the fog made all the perspective and natural detail vanish .. they moved very flmdly. My frrst thought was 'Oh God' ; people trying to hoax a crop circle."

"The more I looked the more I could see. The two main lights moved up and down the fields, across the road and to the top of the hill ... !they never disappeared) for very long ... they were definitely not on the ground; you could see patches of the surrounding areas below them !as though the night was clear and bright) ... the lights did not react to the fog at all. No beams of light lit up the fog !there was a) ... tunnel of clear vision between us and them ... the light did cast downwards and this is when I got a very clear look at the 'beings' ... they were around and !!!. triangular objects ... the two main lights had small beings in them. I could see the outlines of arms and legs and as they turned !the scene) was clearer."

"Around the two main lights !which were part of the object), there were five other 'beings' not in anything. I could see them so clearly and yet I know that I shouldn't have been able to see anything in the fog. When I realised what I was seeing I grabbed my torch and shone !down) towards them." !This made seeing more difficult)

"They turned and looked towards us: I could hear them think !like) whispering in the head ...

d then they started to rise and come towards us ... I was !kneeling) and they came eye-level With me ... they were so close ... I wanted to reach out. ... I said 'They're coming towards us,' and both me and Rob moved back ... I stood up and turned to call the small group of people over all that came out was a whisper."

"There was no sound !at all) on the hill, all the animals were totally quiet; there was no sound at all, apart from the whispering ... "

Page 4: AWAREIIES - The Croppiethecroppie.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Awarenessv20...The long awaited book on British abductions, "Without Consent" by Philip Mantle and Carl Nagaitis

4 "I turned back and the lights had started to move away from us. Back down ... around the road."

This is the main part of Sonya's account which is graphically written : she also describes the state of the others on the hill top; though there is some doubt about the exact state of the other people up there (see transcript of sound recordin of discussion between witnesses on 14/8/94 at the same spot:)

"On the floor, (I say floor because the top of the hill felt like a round room) lay all the people from the other group. They were soaking wet and they didn't have sleeping bags, they were on their backs out cold."

The impression gained by the author during the recording on top of Silbury Hill was that those involved were honestly trying to give an account of a sequence of events that were so large, sudden, and strange that relating to them at all is very difficult. Paul writes:

"At this time, Sonya, Rob and myself all noticed these lights and started to question what they were. We all stood up and I switched the music off." "The atmosphere on the hill seemed to change and all sound seemed to drop to a whisper." "I cannot explain how we were able to see in such detail the following events , due to the very

thick fog surrounding the hill. However we all watched as the lights grew in size an started to move around the area of the lay-by. At this point Sonya switched on the torch and flashed at them. We all saw as the beings within and around the lights turned towards us ... Two lights converged and rose to about the level of the hill and moved in our direction. They then moved back and dropped down to 'groundish' level. n

One male witness, possibly Rob, on the audio transcript says: "At that point point Sonya shone a torch at one of them ... amazing ... they king of stopped and turned, and basically started travelling upwards towards us, erm, we think they came pretty much to eye-level ; in the daylight you can see the perimeter fence, we think they were probably that near, two of them, at this point ... at this point I don't know how to put ... overwhelming, very overwhelming, panic stations type ... n

Author: "What could you see ?" "Well, at that point, let's back track a little bit; when they first appeared, what we could see as

(has been) explained, was the pyramid-shaped top-casing to the orange lights... I say glow because the light wasn't actually casting a beam in any direction, there was no forward beam; obviously we were in super-dense fog, and basically they started coming towards us, the similar horizon, one just behind the other. I mean at that point I was just in a panic, like overwhelming, like OH GOD; and we were all standing pretty much on the edge here; at that exact point... starting to become very worrying ... I'm not sure what the exact word is; they branched out, they went back down and turned their attentions to that area of the field again. At this point we basically started getting many more lights ... they were very distinct. . . as they went over that way they disappeared (points south) and then reappeared as a whole sequence of lights... we talked over what we should call this and we ended up calling (the pattern) gridwork ... "

After the figures\ lights had descended to ground level they started on a gridwork activity in field B (see transcript), which seems to have been a kind of metric surveying; certainly there were line-o-light displays; then five of the 'beings' and two triangles moved onto the road: "They carried on (along) the road, and ... just before this I said - Great if a car came down the road, because we would get a better look at them ... and not long afterwards a car did come

1

5

down. When its headlights picked up the objects, they shrunk right down to a very small size"

Other witnesses described how the lights at this point 'folded up' into something the size of a portable tape recorder, and notes that they swept around the back of the car and into a field. In the field the figures seemed to float in and out of the orange light; "There was a point when both Paul and Sonya most definitely saw glassy, light-coloured balls alongside the main area and then they just dissolved back in ... "

Eventually the light merely faded out and the normal sounds and experiences of the night returned to them quickly.

The tape transcript gives a complete account together with the various slight ambiguities. The nature of the occurrence must be determined, and we feel that collusion and fabrication of all details is out, since others outside the group approached and corroborated part of what had occurred. Thus we know that SOMETHING happened and possible options are: a visit by entities, a visit by disguised humans, a holographic display, a religious vision ... The last option seems unlikely since car headlights and response to torches do not form part of a standard religious pantheon: "I shone my half a million candlepower 'Apollo' searchlight beam heavenwards, and could see Cherubim and Seraphim and some lesser deities forming up in eschelons ready to put on a show. Disguised humans do not normally fly to hill-tops silently. In any case the figures were small, and would have therefore to be flying children (or dwarves or amputees): so the last alternative to some kind of encounter with the non-human is the skilful, the very skilful, use of holographic generators to create the illusion; the fog (which smelt) having been artificially produced nearby in the car park. Now this possibility was one entertained by the witnesses themselves , the problem is that the lights\figures acted both together and separately, and responded to external stimuli that they could not have expected. For this to work, a sophisticated team in the lay-by would have had to had the technology to send holographic images focused into mist hundreds of feet away at very short notice. Does this kind of show and vast resources seem very likely to convince or excite a number of people on a hill-top; in any case the beams going TO the apparent place of the images would have been seen, even though the 'beings' themselves were the main focus of attention. This alternative scenario is JUST POSSIBLE, though very unlikely, because of the advanced and almost futuristic technological resources required ON SPEC.

In any case the behaviour of the denizens, including seeing like projections jKelly Hopkinsville), floating above the road (Pascagoula), marking out a field as though surveying (Sunderland Family, Alien Contact, Randles), and zooming up together are all behavioural traits noted elsewhere; thus should we wish to claim that the whole experience was some kind of hologram (which though offensive to the witnesses must be checked). We have some very considerable factors to explain including the query - why did not the visiting car headlights illuminate the projection apparatus in the lay-by, with the operator and a blacked out support vehicle, since such a facility would not be small? In spite of this, we must for objectivity put that there is a small and extremely SLIGHT possibility that the whole thing was staged for the benefit of the witnesses perhaps.

Leaving that worrying quibble aside, we have further similarities with other CEIIIs, and the impression of voices in the head which is actually very common indeed. In addition to this the 'flying' behaviour in silence occurred at Kelly-Hopkinsville, and in one notable South American case where the witness watched small beings zoom one after another into a hole on top of a craft which was oval and landed and raising their arms to their shoulders deliberately. Beings moving in and out of a pool of light occurred in January 1958, in a bank of fog on the highway near the Niagara falls. A lady driver, after an engine failure, drew to a halt and was surprised·

6

to find that she was under a huge disc, the base of which could only dimly be seen in the fog. A beam of light descended to the ground and two odd beings like cats with arms were seen to slowly spiral UP the beam into the craft above and disappear, the craft then lifting away, at

which power returned to the car and she could drive off. !Anatomy of a Phenomenon, Jacques Vallee); thus the parallels in this case are remarkable and it is a substantiated jsubject to the minor quibble) and thought provokin close encounter of the third kind undeniably.

EDITOR: I was present during taping of the interviews on August 14th at 11.30 p.m. What

was noticeable was the sheer numbers of people hanging about at the top of the mound at this

time, including several Americans. !Nobody is in theory supposed to go up there to preserve

the fabric of the monument). From this and previous experience, it is likely that Silbury Hill and surroundings is populated by considerable hordes of UFO fans, crop circle enthusiasts and

'New Agers' pretty well every reasonable warm and dry night during the Summer. The

flashing of torches is a favourite occupation when boredom sets in. The effect of such activity

in thick fog would give very striking results especially to those viewing down from the top of

the hill towards the road. Thus I am slightly worried whether this is a case of 'Silbury Disease'

appreciating that our witnesses appeared to be fun loving, extrovert types, who might have

been set up by their pals for a bit of a laugh!

On the other hand one sensed genuine fear had been experienced by individual witnesses, and

one has to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were not seeing torch beams.

I had been present at a CCCS meditation session on July 30th between 8.30 and 10.30p.m. This

was one of a nationwide series of watches carried out to attempt contact with the 'circle

makers'. At the venue I was present, West Ilsley, Berks, a female witness claimed to see a close

and rapidly ascending ball of light just past 9.30p.m. Unfortunately, only one other member of

the group was able to corroborate this. The point is that a major UFO event may have occurred

just 3 hours after the conclusion of a nationwide attempt to make something happen.

From some previous experiences we know that UFOs have been reported during sky watches carried out by the intending groups, but the witnesses were independent and not looking out for UFOs. The only times I have personally seen anything vaguely definable as a UFO was when I was not thinking about the subject at all. This seems to indicate some interaction with the subconscious mind, but that must be the basis of a future article... Suffice to say the mechanism is primed by the intenders, but some innocents have the UFO experience at or near

7

the time and place it was initiated. Our witnesses claimed to have no intention in carrying out a skywatch for UFOs, merely being on Silbury Hill for socialising.

CROP CIRCLE REPORT 1994

by G.E. Ambler

A quite remarkable Summer has now ended with the UK total of formations at an all time high from a considered estimate of the feedback we have received from individual members, groups and press contacts. This has been in spite of the dismissive book "Crop Circle Apocalypse" published earlier in the year and a similar video from the same stable. If the claims in these publications had been true we could have expected a mere trickle of events as the hoaxers pull out having enjoyed a laugh at the others expense. Not so it seems - although names are still mentioned, nobody ever seems to get caught in the act and clearly many farmers in the Avebury area of Wiltshire would be taking stringent action if they knew who was doing it. Some extremely aggressive signs have appeared on farm gates this year inviting visitors to • • • •

off.

The last edition of Awareness reported the big increase in rapeseed formations and the early "scorpions" in barley. It was almost guaranteed that more sensational events would occur in wheat towards the end of July and August - and they certainly did. We are delighted to announce that our investigator Brian James found the longest ever formation yet found in Britain along the Oxon-Wilts border on July 26th. This formal geometrical design covered the entire length of a field measuring approximately HALF-A-MILE from top to bottom. The only problem was that the layout was on a flat landscape and almost invisible from ground level. A number of aerial shots have since been taken which show the amazing precision of this megagram. Could it have been hoaxed? Several who went in came out with the opinion "it must have been" - perhaps a safety valve operating in the mind when confronted with inputs beyond our known parameters.

The overall flavour of the 1994 formations was of long rows of circles in ever increasing sizes -anything up to 15 of them with sizes of 200ft down to 2ft diameter. This generated pictograms of average length around 500ft as apposed to 300ft of the last two years. There were 3 definitely designed as "scorpions" with grotesque looking horns on the top circle. The way that the tail of 10-12 circles rode up the contours of the field they were set in gave the first indications that the phenomenon is looking into ways of becoming THREE DIMENSIONAL. Another series of pictograms in Oxon, Berks, Wilts and Sussex became known as "thought bubbles" with trails of regular increasing size circles running along and then looping up a steep slope, finally ending in a huge ring or crescent. Aerial shots of these gave the impression of a staircase leading up to heaven!

REGIONAL REPORTS:

North Wiltshire: The earliest formations were reported in Awareness. Vol 19 No 4. Events in wheat included a remarkable "spider" gram or bee at Barbury Castle close to the famous 1991 site jearly July). Around mid-July a gigantic "scorpion" appeared 2 miles from Devizes off the A361. This was estimated at 700ft in length with complex head, horns and a dozen or more variable sized circles making up the tail part. It looked grotesque and threatening and the farmer was not amused, eventually cutting out the shape before the rest of the crop was harvested. Around July 24th a complex formation resembling an eye appeared in the East Field at Alton Barnes. In early August a figure of eight inside a large circle was visible from the A4 at West Overton, and a superb complex circular design like a spider's web appeared near Avebury. A very large floral formation came late on near Froxfield. These represent just a few

of what came down in the area.

North Jfa.J!l_p_shire: Activity reported from various parts and not all confined to the Cheesefoot Head, Winchester District as in some previous years. In fact 2 pictograms appeared in the well known Punchbowl on the A272 road, but nothing in the neighbouring fields since an early rape circle. One pictogram bad interesting fan shaped extensions on the circles and this was also reported on another similar design at Danebury Ring. Several other formations reported close to Andover, West Meon and a "ratchet" type layout seen from the air over Crawley Down.

Oxfordshire: Activity started around July 8th and there followed a series of large formations with many circles all roughly following the line of the Ridgeway path across the south and west of the county. These included 3 "speech or thought bubbles" formations of descending sized circles all on steep escarpments at Ipsden, Moulsford, and East Ilsley jBerks). The gem was a half mile long formation at Ashbury as already reported. The most active area for the last 2 years, Burford, produced only one late formation close to the A40.

Dorset: A strong showing close to Dorchester with 6 pictograms arriving over a single weekend in late June. These included a 5-ringed circle and a group of mini-circles inside a large ring.

Sussex: Some unusual floor patterns discovered in early July close to overhead power lines near Eastbourne. Several pictograms on the Downs, including 2 "thought bubbles" close together, and a huge one at East Dean in late July.

Bucks: Nothing reported until around July 20th, then 4 circles in triangular formation arrived at Amersham in the same field as a 1991 event. Thereafter several others spotted between Beaconsfield and Amersham and more on the new A4 1 dual carriageway near Boume End.

Cambridgeshire: Strong showing of pictograms in the areas where they were reported in 1991. Most dated around mid-July.

West Midlands: Incomplete picture, but we know of a circle reported near Lapworth close to M40, and a quintuplet near Rugby\M6 on July 12th. Another reported from Ludlow, Salop on July 20th.

Northern Ireland: Newspaper report received of a formation in barley at Crawsfordburn, Co Down described as a circle with 3 branches, plus a mysterious ring that appeared overnight on grass lawn near Dundrum. These dated mid-July, so the phenomenon started here earlier than last year .

Wales: Phenomenon seems to have spread to all parts, with a large pictogram at Magor near Chepstow. This was reckoned to exhibit scorched edges- a new development. Further. scro.lls present in same field. A single was reported from a very remote area near Welshpool m nudJuly, and another oval shape reported along the N.Wales coast road, ASS, near Aberele. Pilot who claimed to have flown round Wales for 20 years had never seen so many at one time.

Other Areas U .K: We have reports of a 11 circle formation outside Chester and that other Roman settlement, York, spotted a pair of circles visible from the Askham Richard roundabout !early July). A complex formation at East Dundry, Bristol, was found in late June well hidden away. Garthorpe near Scunthorpe, Lines produced a single in early August. There are reports of 4 formations at Meopham, Kent, and a pictogram near Rochester.

Overseas: A complicated dumb-bell type formation arrived near Windsor, Ontario, CANADA, in mid-July. In the USA a formation came to Hillsboro, Oregon, in late June with vast numbers of visitors in evidence. A neat SOft circle appeared in lOft high corn at Vienna, New York state in Mid-August. If the latter is maize "corn" -Then it is quite staggering!

What happens when a crop circle arrives at a new location? The south Oxon village of Ipen was the recipient of a giant 9 circle chain in a wheat field on Sunday July lOth. The follog day the village clerk rang up Radio Oxford to inform them of this un-heralde event beaking the undisturbed peace of centuries! I was then phoned and asked to go on Radio Oxford s news programme - as always with no preparation. Insisting t I must see the. evidence first - were the circles in a formation or loosely scattered around for mstance - the radio people gave me the name of the farmer's wife for clearance to view on Monday evening. I spoke to Mrs J and was given provisional permission to examine the formation that day.

When I arrived around 7p.m there were already 10-15 people scrambling round the 9 components of the first Oxon "thought bubble". The circles were clearly ile from the Crowmarsh-Reading road, a mile away, and with open access to the field, VISitors were qwckly being attracted. We marvelled at the unique form with the circles rug up a very steep slope starting at a minuscule 2ft 6ins diameter at the lower end and ending on the top of the slope with a gigantic 30ft wide ring of overall diameter 205ft. The gap between the perfect circles was only a couple of stems width in places, which uickly got flattene? as moe and more visitors arrived. Excited denizens from the village qwzzed me for more information.. I handed over my dowsing rods and pendulum to these ".

r?okies" showing where the eneres could be picked up. A number of ladies who got po.sitive results were overwhed With excitement, like a child on Christmas morning! How ruce to see these pleasant reactions after

some of the dark thoughts down in Wiltshire. 1 1

Tuesday morning and Radio Oxford put me on for a "generous" 3 minutes on the early news programme. The presenter started with talk of "little green men", which is a guaranteed vote loser with me, and played an interview with farmer J previously recorded. News was already moving round at a fair rate of knots, and by the end of the week, Ipsden was on the map, with pictures of the formation all over the Oxford and Berks papers. As the field ripened and more and more visitors barged in !without permission), the area gradually took the appearance of an army manoeuvre with unofficial paths spreading in all directions.

On Wednesday evening a second visit took place with the CCCS investigators. We went to the farm at the top of the hill behind the circles to meet farmer J and his wife. A classic farmyard scene greeted us with pigs, cows, geese and loose dogs snapping at our heels. Farmer J, bluff and large, and his wife, tall and slim, and more sympathetic to the para-normal, brought down their 2 workers to the field. The first thing we learnt was the J's did not own the crop - that was farmer A - but they were acting as caretakers. The land owner, probably to be found in Debrett's Peerage, was someone else.

As we stood at the bottom of the hill, a Land Rover suddenly charged up the edge of the field. Bold as brass, out jumped the local game keeper declaring most emphatically that he was tending pheasants at Sa.m on Sunday morning and there were definitely no circles then, but on returning at 6a.m there they were! If hoaxers could operate on that time scale they must have been superhuman! Farmer J, a confirmed sceptic, gradually changed his opinion as he heard this account and later saw the dowsing effects and how the crop was laid on the slopes.

Even though the CCCS group were with the custodian farmers inside the circles, suddenly through the babble of animated chatter came a sound from the Imperial Past: •Private Land• it roared. Deathly silence reigned over the 20 or so up there - just where was this voice coming from? It repeated twice more and then vanished. Nobody could quite see who the owner· of the strident tones was.

Later on we heard farmer A had turned paranoic when he saw the state of his crop and after perpetually being pestered by the press for interviews. The odd thing was that the the Ipsden formation was the only one in the Oxford area to receive so much attention - the others had only a handful of visitors - which is due no doubt to the power of the media.

A footnote which may or may not be connected to the Ipsden circles - a large number of young conifer border trees disappeared from properties in Cray's Pond and Woodcote, just a few miles away, shortly afterwards. The Daily MaU made quite a yam of it.

CONCLUSIONS: The numbers of highly sophisticated formations appearing in 1994 and their widespread nature indicates, in my opinion, that the phenomenon is outside the scope of hoaxing, although unsubstantiated claims as always are being made. You believ what. you want to hear of course. There seems to be a strong message aimed at the subconscious mmd -after 15 years and thousands of patterns, if there was to be a direct communication it surely would have been made by now. Next year will be as unpredictable as ever, but whatever turns up expect it to be mind-blowing!! If you only see "flattened corn" then the message has not reached you.

12 ROSWELL - THE FINAL RECKONING ?

Editor : Contact Int. has obtained the text of the extensive USAF investigation undertaken at the request of Congressman Steven H. Schiff in February 1994. This report was released in September 1994, and in a nut-shell, gives not the slightest hint that any UFOs or alien bodies were recovered at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Already cries of "whitewash" and "cover-up" are emerging from the vested interests that maintain Roswell as a cottage industry!

In my opinion the case is far too old to guarantee anything is true or false. Terminology could have been misinterpreted as the event took place at the beginning of the "Flying Saucer" experiences of 1947, before books had been written. In fisherman's parlance - "the one that got

away" gets bigger with every passing year. So it may be with Roswell. Now read on and

decide for yourself. Unfortunately space does not permit a full rendering of the USAF report,

but copies can be supplied of tne otntr pans 122 pages) ror 1:."2.

Secretary of the Air Force Sheila E. Widnall today announced the completion of an Air Force

study to locate records that would explain an alleged 1947 UFO incident. Pro-UFO researchers

claim an extraterrestrial spacecraft and its alien occupants were recovered near Roswell, N.M.,

in July 1947 and the fact was kept from the public.

At the request of Congressman Steven H. Schiff (R-NM), the General Accounting Office in February 1994 initiated an audit to locate all records related to the Roswell incident and to determine if such recordswere properly handled. The GAO audit entitled "Records Management Procedures Dealing With Weather Balloon, Unknown Aircraft, and Similar Crash Incidents is not yet complete.

The GAO audit involved a number of government agencies but focused on the Air Force. In

support of the GAO effort, the Air Force initiated a systematic search of current Air Force

offices as well as numerous archives and records centers that might help explain the incident.

Air Force officials also interviewed a number of persons who might have had knowledge of the

events. Prior to the interviews, Secretary Widnall released those persons from any previous

security obligations that might have restricted their statements.

The Air Force research did not locate or develop any information that the "Roswell Incident"

was a UFO event nor was there any indication of a "cover-up" by the Air Force. Information

obtained through exhaustive records searches and interviews indicated the material recovered

near Roswell was consistent with a balloon device of the type used in a then classified project.

No records indicated or even hinted at the recovery of "alien" bodies or extraterrestrial

materials.

All documentation related to this case is now declassified and the information is in the public

domain. All documentation has been turned over to the Air Force Historian. The Air Force

report without attachments may be obtained by contacting Major Thurston, Air Force Public

Affairs, (703) 695-0640. The report with all 33 attachments is available for review in the

Pentagon Library in Room 1A518.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The "Roswell Incident" refers to an event that supposedly happened in July, 1947, wherein the Army Air Forces (AAF) allegedly recovered remains of a crashed "flying disc" near Roswell,

1 3

New Mexico. In February, 1994, the General Accounting Office (GAO), acting on the request of a New Mexico Congressman, initiated an audit to attempt to locate records of such an incident and to determine if records regarding it were properly handled. Although the GAO effort was to look at a number of government agencies, the apparent focus was on the Air Force. SAF/AAZ , as the Central Point of Contact for the GAO in this matter, initiated a systematic search of current Air Force offices as well as numerous archives and records centers that might help explain this matter. Research revealed that the "Roswell Incident" was not even considered a UFO event until the 1978-1980 time frame. Prior to that, the incident was dismissed because the AAF originally identified the debris recovered as being that of a weather balloon. Subsequently, various authors wrote a number of books claiming that, not only was debris from an alien spacecraft recovered, but also the bodies of the craft's alien occupants. These claims continue to evolve today and the Air Force is now routinely accused of engaging in a "cover-up" of this supposed event.

The research located no records at existing Air Force offices that indicated any "coverup" by the USAF or any indication of such a recovery. Consequently, efforts were intensified by Air Force researchers at numerous locations where records for the period in question were stored. The records reviewed did not reveal any increase in operations, security, or any other activity in July, 1947, that indicated any such unusual event may have occurred. Records were located and thoroughly explored concerning a then-TOP SECRET balloon project, designed to attempt to monitor Soviet nuclear tests, known as Project Mogul. Additionally, several surviving project personnel were located and interviewed, as was the only surviving person who recovered debris from the original Roswell site in 1947, and the former officer who initially identified the wreckage as a balloon. Comparison of all information developed or obtained indicated that the material recovered near Roswell was consistent with a balloon device and most likely from one of the Mogul balloons that had not been previously recovered. Air Force research efforts did not disclose any records of the recovery of any "alien" bodies or extraterrestrial materials.

THE "ROSWELL INCIDENT - WHAT WAS ORIGINALLY REPORTED IN 1947

The modem preoccupation with what ultimately came to be called Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) actually began in June, 1947.

Although some pro-UFO researchers argue that sightings of UFOs go back to Biblical times, most researchers will not dispute that anything in UFO history can compare with the phenomenon that began in 1947. What was later characterized as "the UFO Wave of 194T' began with 16 alleged sightings that occurred between May 17 and July 12, 1947, (although some researchers claim there were as many as 800 sightings during that period). Interestingly, the "Roswell Incident" was not considered one of these 1947 events until the 1978-1980 time frame. There is no dispute, however, that something happened near Roswell in July, 1947, since it was reported in a number of contemporary newspaper articles; the most famous of which were the July 8 and July 9 editions of the Roswell Daily Record. The July 8 edition reported "RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch In Roswell Region," while the next day's edition reported, "Ramey Empties Roswell Saucer" and "Harassed Rancher WhoLocated 'Saucer' Sorry He Told About It."

The first story reported that the Intelligence Officer of the 509th Bomb Group, stationed at Roswell AAF, Major Jesse A- Marcel, had recovered a "flying disc" from the range 4 lands of an unidentified rancher in the vicinity of Roswell and that the disc had been "flown to higher headquarters." That same story also reported that a Roswell couple claimed to have seen a large unidentified object fly by their home on July 2, 1947.

Page 9: AWAREIIES - The Croppiethecroppie.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Awarenessv20...The long awaited book on British abductions, "Without Consent" by Philip Mantle and Carl Nagaitis

1 4 The July 9 edition of the paper noted that Brigadier General Roger Ra.mey, Commander of the fl,ighth Air Force at Forth Worth, Texas, stated that upon examination the debris recovered by Marcel was determined to be a weather balloon. The wreckage was described as a .. . bundle of tinfoil, broken wood beams, and rubber remnants of a balloon . . . . " The . " .. the next day he fust heard about the flying dic;cs and wondered if what he had found might have been the remnants of one of these." Brazel subsequently went to Roswell on July 7 and contacted the Sheriff,. who apparently notified Major Marcel. Major Marcel and "a man in plain clothes" then accompanied Brazel home to pick up the rest of the pieces.

The article further related that Br8.7.el thought that the material:

. " . .might have been as large as a table top. The balloon which held it up, if that is how it worked , must have been about 12 feet long, he felt, measuring the distance by the size of the room in which he sat . The ru bher was smoky gray in color and scattered over an area about 200 yards in diameter. When the debris was gathered up the tinfoil, paper, tape, and sticks made a bundle about three feet long and 7 or 8 inches thkk, while the rubber made a bundle about 1 8 or 2 0 inches long and about 8 inches thick. I n all, h e estimated, the entire lot would have weighed maybe five pounds. There was no sign of any metal in the area which might have been used for an engine and no sign of any propellers of any kind. Although at least one paper fin had been glued onto some of the tinfoil. There were no words to be found anywhere on the instrument although there were letters on some of the parts . Considerable scotch tape and some tape with flowers printed upon it had been used in the con1ruction. No string or wire were to be found bu t there were some eyelets in the paper to indicate that some sort of attachment may have been used. Bra7.el said that he had previously found two weather balloons on the ranch, but that what he found this time did not in any way resemble either of these."

GONGJAJJQN

The Air Force research did not locate or develop any information that the "Robwell Incident" was a UFO t-'Vent . All available offidal materials, although they do not directly address Roswell per se, indicate that the most likely source of the wreckage recovered from the Brazel Ranch

was from one of the Project Mol,'lll balloon trains. Although that project was TOP SECRET at the time , there was also no specific indication found to indicate an official pre-planned cover story was in place to explain an t->vent such as that which ultimately happened . It appears that the identification of the wreckage as being part of a weather balloon device , as reported in the newspapers at the time, was based on the fact that there was no physical difference in the radar targets and the neoprene balloons (other than the numbers and configuration) between Mogul balloons ami normal wea ther balloons.

Additionally , it seems that there was over-reaction by Colonel Blanchard and Major Marcel, in origina1ly reporting that a " flying disc" had been recovered when, at that time, nobody for sure knew what that term even meant since the it had only been in use for a couple of weeks.

Likewise, there was no indication in official records from the period that there was heightened military operational or secu rity aetivity which should have been generated if this was, in fact, the first recovery of materials and/or persons from another world. The post-War US Military (or today's for that matter) did not have the capability to rapidly identify, recover, coordinate, cover-up, and quickly public scrutiny of such an event. The claim that they did so without leaving even a little bit of a suspicious paper trail for 47 years is incredible.

1 5 It should also be noted here that there was little mentioned in this report about the recovery of the so-called "alien bodies. " This is for several reasons: First, the recovered wreckage was from a Project Mogul balloon. There were no "alien" passengers therein. Secondly, the pro- UFO groups who espouse the alien bodies theories cannot even agree among themselves as to what, how many, and where, such bodies were supposedly recovered. Additionally, some of these claims have been shown to be hoaxes, even by other UFO researchers. Thirdly, when such claim are made, they are often attributed to people using pseudonyms or who otherwise do not want to be publicly identified, presumably so that some sort of retribution cannot be taken against them (notwithstanding that nobody has been shown to have died, disappeared or otherwise suffered at the hands of the government during the last 47 years) . Fourth, many of the persons making the biggest claims of "alien bodies" make their living from the "Roswell Incident. " While having a commercial interest in something does not automatically make it suspect, it does raise interesting questions related to authenticity. Such persons should be encouraged to present their evidence (not speculation) directly to the . . .

who have come forward and provided their names and made claims, may have, i n good faith but in the "fog of time, " misinterpreted past events. The review of Air Force records did not locate even one piece of evidence to indicate that the Air Force has had any part in an "alien" body recovery operation or continuing cover-up.

During the course of this effort, the Air Force has kept in close touch with the GAO and responded to their various queries and requests for assistance. This report was generated as an official response to the GAO, and to document the considerable effort expended by the Air Force on their behalf It is anticipated that that they will request a copy of this report to help formulate the formal report of their efforts. It is recommended that this document serve as the final Air Force report related to the Roswell matter, for the GAO, or any other inquiries.

THE FIRST REAL UFO CRASH ---- - - - - - · - --- --- -- -- - ---BY G.E. Ambler

Once again a mass of data has been released concerning the purported UFO crash near Roswell, New Mexico in 1 947. The official USAF investigation brought up to date by orders of Congress entirely refutes the suggestion that an alien spacecraft with occupants was recovered from the desert near Roswell. It seems we shall never know the true facts of a case approaching 50 years in age. Similarly another crashed UFO claimed for November 1 993 remains entirely anecdotal at the present time. Just what is it I am claiming as the first UFO crash then? On September 8th 1 944, the first V2 terror weapon crashed and exploded in Staveley Rd, Chiswick, London W 4 killing 3 and injuring 10 more people. This particular period marks the 50th anniversary of the event which is naturally overshadowed by the glories of D-Day and Arnhem. However a number of recent press reports have revealed some interesting facts about the V2 campaign including a massive cover-up of the events by the Churchill government. The V2 came down from space at colossal speed with "London" as its target. Where it hit the ground was almost at random - there was no sound, no warnings. Short of chemical or nuclear attack which have never been experienced by the British civilian population, the V2 invasion must have been the most terrifying ordeal of all, and for 2 months it was kept out of the press - a true UFO scenario.

The last ditch attempt by Hitler to win the war came on June 1 3th 1 944 , a week after the D-Day

Page 10: AWAREIIES - The Croppiethecroppie.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Awarenessv20...The long awaited book on British abductions, "Without Consent" by Philip Mantle and Carl Nagaitis

1 6

landings, when the first V 1 or flying bomb, popularly entitled the "doodlebug, " was launched against London. Fired from ramps just over the channel, V1s had a range of 250 miles moving at 400 m.p.h. An amazing 9000 were aimed at London, of which 2400 came down on target. They had an unmistakable droning sound, which cut out when the target was reached. There was at least time to take cover or for aircraft to intercept the V1 before its lethal load was discharged.

Imagine the sequel to this when in September 1944 came its successor - the silent death - there was no defence to it. The V2 was the first supersonic guided missile, 46ft long, weighing 13 tons, with a one ton amatol warhead. I t reached Mach 1 in 30 seconds and a maximum height of 60 miles, before turning over. With a range of 200 miles, it would hit its target 5 minutes from launch at 2386mph. The technology behind the V2 was the forerunner of the rockets used in the space programmes after the Americans or Russians had swallowed up the German scientists at the end of hostilities.

From September 1944 to March 1945, 1 1 1 5 rockets hit targets around London killing 26 12 people. A further 1 341 were also aimed at Antwerp, by this time in allied hands.

What happened on that September day when the first V2 came down in an idyllic residential area of west London close to where I worked for 6 years? It was 6.45p.m with a cloudy sky. No air-raid warning sounded. Suddenly 1 1 houses had been demolished and 600 more had suffered blast damage. A crater 40ft wide by 30 ft deep appeared. A news blackout was instantly imposed with photographs of the devastated area bearing the caption "not to be published" decreed by the censor. Journalists were told a gas main had exploded and what few photographs got out described the incident as a "mystery explosion" . Did the British Intelligence know immediately what the explosion was or regard it as a UFO? That is not established from the latest reports. It would

The silent tMror: Explodlf19 with tMnlacal ferodty, the V-2 wu Hitler's moat deatructlve .... ult on Britain

not be hard to guess that the Germans had a secret new weapon in operation when the same happened again 1 00 + times in the next 2 months reaching a hideous peak on November the 27th when Woolworth in New Cross Rd, Deptford was blasted killing 1 60 people and another

1 08 injured. 1 7

I t fell to the enemy themselves to announce that they had improved on the VI weapons 2 months into the campaign, so with the various listening devices in full operation, there was not much the Churchill government could do but come clean in the whole business. How do you tell the public that death from space is on the cards any time of day or night? The only solution was to overrun the launch sites on the continent. On March 27th 1 945, the V2 terror ended.

What amazes me more than the awesome effects of the explosions was the sheer ability to produce something like 2500 of these huge rockets in barely 6 months when the German War effort was under the maximum attack by land, sea and air. This concentration of mind, power and resources has seldom been repeated since 1944.

UNDERSTANDING UFO EFFECTS - PETROL AND ENGINES

by J.F. Rayner•

1 00 octane is a number definition of a measure of the ability of petrol to resist knocking when ignited in a mixture of air in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine.

The octane number is determined by comparing under standard conditions the knocking intensity of the petrol with that of the two reference fuels namely, iso octane which has an arbitrary on off 1 00 and Heptane with a given on of 0 in the iso octane-heptane mixture that corresponds in its knock intensity with that of the petrol's potential - however. here lies a problem with an over loaded atmosphere in a limited field of activity, This being as it may, another type of overloading is apparent from the excessive emissions that are detrimental to the electrical transmission system by way of an objects anti-matter field that exists around the ignition coal of a cars component, so it is ionised from a magnetic field frequency. (The immediate air is negatively charged).

The air loses its normal insulating properties and will conduct electrical potential at a lower rate, this being a cloaking field so the cars high voltage electrical system will follow the path of least electrical resistance to jump directly from the grounded engine block through the ionized air surrounding the ignition wiring; to enter any cracks in the wirings insulation and make its way back to the positive pole of the cars battery rather than jump across the still non-ionised air between the spark plugs.

The current may also return to the battery through &.n ionized coating of grime on the ignition wires or if there is an extensive ionization of most of the air in the engine area directly through this ionized air.

When this happens the spark plugs do not fire and the engine will eventually stop.

Ionization near the ignition coils external magnetic field may allow high voltage short-circuiting here that can stall the engine.

After the influencing area has left, the frequency diminishes that caused the mal-function and the de-ionizing takes place so the ignition system can function normally again because its high

voltage electrical components are again properly insulated by ail: with its normally high resistance to a high voltage ignition system.

Start a car up and a large amount of electricity goes to the starter motor field and armature winding which are usually wired together in series. As a battery current flows through the starter's field windings it produces a high power surge - a magnetic field that projects out of the starter's die cast aluminium housing, this in itself combines with the units anti mass field radiation penetrating the engine compartment and the air around the starter motor becomes highly ionized. The resulting ions will now orbit around the magnetic field of the field windings to form a ionic vortex of moving atmospheric ions.

This vortex generates its own magnetic field in the field windings. The two opposed magnetic fields then cancel each other out and for all practical purposes it is though the starter had no field windings at all - which of course means that the starter cannot turn the pinion gear attached to its armature to crank the engine.

After the cause has removed itself from the scene the ionic vortex will dissipate and its collapsing magnetic field will cut across the starter field windings to induce a powerful current flow in them.

It is this current that activates the starter and often will restart the engine without any effort on the drivers part as long as the transmission is not disrupted - key is in the ignition at the switched on position.

This process of ionic vortex build up to neutralise local magnetic fields is also the reason that compass needles will deflect or even spin when unit is in vicinity - i.e. The ionic vortex applies a torque force to compass needles and effects radio reception as well as television transmissions.

A FAREWELL NOTE FROM BOB OECHSLER

lEd: Bob was the key witness from "Alien Liaison" l • • • ANNOUNCEMENT • • •

As of September 1st 1 994, I will be retiring from UFO research and investigations. My tenure in U FO research has in some ways been very rewarding, especially the many close friendships that I 've developed and enjoyed over the years. In many other ways the effects of my involvement have been quite debilitating, especially to my family. I don't like what I 've seen this phenomena do to otherwise concerned rational people, including myself. The malicious libel, slander, distortion and unchecked fabrication that runs rampant in the UFO field is destructive and counterproductive. My belief is that UFOs are indeed real and that the management and spokespersons for ufology suffer greatly from egocentricity and selfimportance when the evidence is clear that few really care much beyond the novelty. Therefore, I 've decided to extricate myself from this eternal abyss and return to the family life that I 've sorely neglected.

My final effort over the course of the Summer will be dedicated to writing and publishing the truth regarding the Guardian UFO Landing investigation in the Carp area of Ontario, Canada. My archives and research will be turned over to a private research institute where my work will continue. The institute is dedicated solely to unmitigated academic discourse and scientific research into UFO organisations, government nor [sic] public media. The institute wishes to

1 9

remain anonymous at this time. Anyone interested in a synopsis of my research and the discoveries that I 've made over the years can contact Project Awareness for a copy of the video tape of my farewell presentation. Their address is PO Box 730, Gulf Breeze, Fl 32562. I do not share in the proceeds. After September the 1st, I will not accept any orders for UFO materials wch _I have de avble to assist in my research costs. For those of you who have mamtained an mte:est m my research efforts, I thank you sincerely for your support and encouragement. It IS because of you that I regret that this decision has become necessary.

My final opinion is that there is no mystery to the UFO phenomena, the real mystery involves the sociology of how it effects and polarizes those drawn to it. This may be the best reason for government secrecy. There is a great need for comprehensive change in the attitude and management of the current UFO organisational approach to UFO study if the subject matter is ever to receive and retain the attention of serious scientific professionals. My final recommendation for those seriously interested in the potential scope and possible origins of the UFO Phenomena is to read " Hyperspace" by Michio Kaku ( 1994 Oxford University Press nonfiction) .

Farewell all of my friends, colleagues and antagonists, good luck in all your endeavours.

UPO CRASH 1993 by Brlan P. James

In view of the possible confusion over the name of my 'infonnet, and due to the nature of the details being divulged, it would be best to print the following as unaccredited.

The following details have been made available by senior investigators at various times within Quest, and some brief details at a Quest conference, though the exact date, location, witness details, etc. are being withheld. The known points are not necessarily in correct chronological order. • The 'crash' was on MOD property, probably on the North York Moors. • The witnesses were animal rights activists involved in some sort of unspecified

'action' at the time. • Three cigar shaped objects were seen flying line astern (direction unknown). The

second craft descended steeply. making a 'heavy landing' as opposed to an absolute crash. Initial impact was in a forest, but the mile long impact path took it out into open land.

• A crew (?) of three Greys were seen to emerge. • Military personnel quickly entered immediate area and sealed it off. • Fire crews in hazard suits observed hosing down the craft, not known if it was for

cooling or decontamination due to radiation. lt is unknown whether the fire crews were military or local fire service.

Page 14: AWAREIIES - The Croppiethecroppie.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Awarenessv20...The long awaited book on British abductions, "Without Consent" by Philip Mantle and Carl Nagaitis

2 4 • The crash site was photographed by an investigator soon after the event, but

military personnel, including American, arrived. They confiscated the camera and destroyed the fi lm, with the usual warnings of 'you have seen nothing', etc.

• Local farmers reported animal mutilations at the time; cattle, sheep, pigs, foxes, rabbits, etc. all found with a clean hole in the skull.

• Metallic debris was found by investigators, and was analysed by acquaintances in metallurgy labs. The metal was analysed to be ordinary titanium. Military personnel and police later arrived at investigator's house to 'recover' the metal sample(s). This action was carried out while a senior investigator was listening on an open phone line.

• A hangar was erected over the craft itself, and an exclusion zone was enforced. Local residents were moved out.

• Military helicopters still overtly the area to maintain the security exclusion zone. • One witness has subsequently found him/her-self in France with a memory loss.

The witnesses are increasingly unwilling to give more information. Other investigators are getting more frustrated with the senior investigator's involved for their reticence in advancing the research into what may be a very important case. Due to the rapid involvement of American military personnel, we can speculate that the site may have been close to the American ELINT Station post at Fylingdales. Some Quest investigators are beg inning to feel that it is possible that the craft in question was a secret USAF vehicle that got into difficulties, though the observed presence of Greys as crew would confuse that theory.

Conclusions

Having looked at OS maps of the region, there is only one marked MOD area -around SE880980 - which is the Fylingdales area itself. There is a forested area to the immediate north, and the Langdale Forest borders the southern edge of the MOD zone. Given that the A169 Pickering to Whitby road runs along the western side of the zone, it is difficult to see how this could be sealed off indefinitely. Also

tourist attractions such as the North York's railway run within a kilometre of the zone

in places, which again would be 'awkward' to close. Generally, the area may be

quiet, but certainly cannot be considered 'remote' enough to be easy to seal off, for what is now over a year after the event. Indeed, there are few regions of Great

Britain, and certainly England that are remote enough for this sort of operation to be

carried out without disruption that would be mentioned by the public. Even if the

media were prevented from reporting any disruption, it seems likely that some

mention would be made to friends or relatives elsewhere - unless one takes the

'conspiracy' view that the phones and mail are being censored ! If the Fylingdales

area is the scene of the 'crash', it should not be too difficult to observe the after

effects of the event itself, or the subsequent man-made disruption. A large hangar

must have taken some time to erect, its presence now should still be obvious, and

should be easy to photograph from a distance with a telephoto lens, to provide 'proof

of some sort. Unless the craft was very large, it would also be logical to expect that

the authorities would have made efforts to move the craft to somewhere more

suitable. Surely an RAF base, or more precisely an RAF base under USAF

jurisdiction would be likely. Such events in the past have usually resulted in the

alleged craft being recovered to research facilities very quickly, not left at the crash

site for many months.

ARK SOUNDWAVES PRESENTS

MESSENGERS OF DESTINY A FASCI NATING VI D EO OF U FO ACTIVITY IN M EXICO -$-

On July 1 1 th 1 99 1 leading u p to a total solar eclipse, thousands gathered to watch this magical event, as prophesied by ancient May an priests, a silvery disc-shaped object silently hovered, filmed on video by at least 17 people m different locations of Mexico City, this event marked the beginning of a huge wave of UFO activity . An intemational team of investigators from the USA, Mexico and Japan were led by a trail of UFO sightings to Mount Popocatepetl, the fourth largest volcano in the world, thought to be dormant, but discovered it is now awakening. Messengers of Destiny is a well pr01.:tuced, thought provoking and most important fi lm. From the fulfilnwntof ancient prophecies to the well-docu mented UFO sihtings, courtesy of the personal camcorder, which is producing an mcredible ammmt of footage. This is the first 111 a series of over 40 videos.

UNDENIABLE EVIDENE In July 1991, leading researcher Colin Andrews and Ark Smmdwnves begnn filming this invalunble guide to the fascinating crop circle phenomenon, including: in depth interviews with Colin Andrews revenling the evolution of early crop circles into more elaborate and breathtnking pictogmms, plus he shnrcs for the first time his own personnl experiences, deepest thoughts and profound conclusions. Land owners and farm workers also share their experiences. See the results of research into the crystalline structure change of plants, and hear the unearthly sound produced in some crop formations. This most intriguing mystery is clearly presented in this beautifully filmed, visually stmming, informntive documentary. For over a decadeColin has painstakingly researched these mysterious formntions. This dedication hns made him a most n uthoritative and respecte.:t presenter of the phenomenon which we feel is of utmost import.;nce.
