AVON 100 DAYS OF BEAUTY CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS ENTRY INTO THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONTEST RULES. Contest begins January 6, 2014 at 10:00 am (EST) (“Contest Commencement Date”). Contest closes April 15th, 2014 at 11:59 pm (EST) (“Contest Closure Date”). This Contest is sponsored by Avon Canada Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”). TO ENTER: During the eligibility period, you may access the Contest via the My Avon Canada Facebook page at facebook.com/myavoncanada. From the My Avon Canada page, accept the Contest Application page, click that you “Like” My Avon Canada and complete the on-screen registration form, including an email address and other contact information where you could be reached if selected as a winner. To enter the contest, you must submit this information. Registration is required to collect contact information for prize notification and fulfillment only. There is a limit of one (1) Contest Entry per person, per day throughout the Contest Period. If it is discovered that you have entered more than once per day, all of your entries will be declared null and void, and any prize you might have been entitled to will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible entrant. No purchase or payment of any kind necessary to enter or win. A purchase of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. Total combined value of all prizes is $1,819 CDN. Limit of one prize per person, per day for the entire duration of the Contest. Prize value varies from day to day and will be distributed randomly over the course of the contest period. GENERAL: Contest entries will be accepted between the Contest Commencement Date and the Contest Closure Date. The random draw for the winners will take place on the dates listed below from which one name will be drawn for each day of the week for a total of 7 winners per draw date, with the exception of the final draw which will consist of 9 winners. Winners will be notified by telephone or email within five (5) business days of the Winner Selection Date. The winners must respond within five (5) business days of being notified, in order to claim their prize. If the selected entrant cannot be reached, for whatever reason, another entrant may be randomly selected. Before being declared winners, the winners must correctly answer unaided the following mathematical skill-testing question: (10 x 4 ÷ 2) + 6 – 1. If the mathematical skill-testing question is incorrectly answered, the winner will be automatically disqualified. The prizes will be distributed within 4-6 weeks after each winner has been successfully contacted and notified of his/her prize, and Contest Sponsor has received the required Release duly completed. If a winner does not comply with the contest rules, he/she will be automatically disqualified and will not receive the prize, and another winner will be selected. Contest Sponsor shall not be responsible for a selected winner to receive the notification or for Contest Sponsor to receive a selected winner’s response. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any entries lost or received late, that are therefore not calculated in the results. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this contest, including but not limited to, errors in advertising, the official rules, the selection and announcement of winners, or the distribution of any prize. Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify achievers involved in fraudulent or unethical business practices, or in any other occurrence that affects the administration, spirit, integrity, security, or proper play of the Contest. Contest Sponsor and each of their officers, directors, employees, affiliates, related entities, partners, partnerships, principal, agents, licensees, sponsors, successors and assigns (i) make no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind concerning any prize, (ii) disclaim any implied warranty, and (iii) are not liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize or from participation in this contest. The prizes must be accepted exactly as is. No cash equivalents will be offered if the prizes are not desired. Contest Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion; to substitute any and all of the prizes for a prize of equal or greater value should all or part of a prize become unavailable for any reason. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the contest period. The AVON “100 Days of Beauty” contest is open to all Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in the Province or Territory of their residence at the time of contest entry, excluding Avon Independent Sales Representatives and those living in the same household. Employees of Contest Sponsor, family members of employees and persons with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to participate in the contest. A “family member” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, spouse or common law partners. This contest is subject to all Canadian Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and void in whole or in part where prohibited by law.
