Microsoft Certified Professional MCP ID – 2578965 since 2002. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator MCDBA ID – 2578965 since 2002 Masters of Computer Software Engineering from UPTRON-ACL, Chandigarh.

Equivalent to DOEACC ‘A’ LEVEL. (1996) Done ORACLE DBA (10g) on windows & Linux platforms from NIIT (Jan-2012).

Academic Qualification :

MSc-IT from JNU June 2013. Graduation from Kurukshetra University in 1999. 10+2 NON-MEDICAL.

Professional Activities:

Attended several seminars related to IT. I am an active member of SILICON INDIA WEBSITE. I have been a featured mentor twice there. There I

advise and share my experience with other IT professionals etc.

Presently working as IT Consultant at Chandigarh with Erma-India since February 2003.

Responsibilities:-Consults the client, collects and documents users requirements, develops logical and physical system, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design and develop and test the computer based systems.I develops data-processes and network models to optimize and evaluate the performance and reliability of designs, coordinates with development, installation & integration and operations of computer based systems. I also leads and coordinates the different IT professionals (in-house or outside) in the development of software and integrated-information-systems, process-control software and other embedded software control systems.

Career Achievements :

I achieved a lot of professional experience during my 11-years tenure as IT-Consultant /IT-Project Manager with ERMA INDIA. Initially we operated from plot no.181/21,Industrial Area,Phase-

1, Chandigarh.Now we are at #93, Royal Estate Complex, Chd - New Delhi Highway, Zirakpur. Distt. Mohali - Punjab(near Chandigarh),INDIA.Basically ERMA INDIA is into R&D and development of OPTICAL PRECISION instruments used in various industries like Textiles, wool-Labs etc. We also give/ offer IT related consultancy services like IT-infrastructure setup, Hardware/software procurements, Integrated systems, Network architecture, software development/Web development for clients through third parties etc.

Initially I joined there as Junior consultant but later promoted to present position which is heading the IT based functions/dealings of the company. Area of work include Server Administration (Novell NetWare, Windows server 2003&2005, Linux Red hat 6 Server), Network Management, Database Management, Antivirus server administration (Trend micro /Kaspersky /Norton /Eset smart security), UTM management(hardware firewall), DSL, Switches(automatic),hubs, Access-points, WiFi networks, New hardware/software procurements, personnel-Training ,Desktop support etc. at Client –side etc.

Work Experience

Worked with MANIPAL University’s direct study centre ie.UNISOFT COMPUTER EDUCATION as

Sr.Instructor from Mar 2000 – Feb 2003.

Responsibilities include teaching, making schedules for other instructors, making notes etc. There I was teaching MSc-IT, PGDIT & BSc-IT students.

Worked with M/s.Petro & Agro Ways,near Mohali as programmer from May 1998 – March 2000.

Responsibilities included preparing daily reports of their sale and stock, maintenance of their databases etc.

Worked with BRC Institute of Engineering and Computer Sciences from Jan 97 – April 98 as computer

faculty.
