BETTER TOGETHER Autumn Term 2015 Small Group Directory Groups start from 28th Sept! Fullness of life

description

Small groups are simply a way for fifteen or so people to meet in a convenient location around MK in order to meet some great new friends and learn more about their faith at the same time! We can gather round an interest, a course or a more meeting-type format to just do life and have fun! Most of the groups will run in a 10 week termly style so that there is enough time to do the stuff but also it's not like signing up for always, and we have a short break before kicking off the next term groups. Of course you are totally welcome to keep in touch with your new friends as suits you. The easiest way is to find a group that excites you and then either sign up here with ChurchApp (Go to the 'My Groups' section). If you're not on ChurchApp at the moment then you can email the office and they'll book you on. Oh, and you are welcome to book onto two groups if you have the time, but no more please as we want to fit in as many people as possible!

SMALL GROUPS | Autumn Term 2015 An invitation

Dear Friend,Recently we looked at how we, together, are ‘filled with Jesus’ who is the ‘fullness of God’. That’s quite a mind-blowing and spirit-exciting lot of filling! How we learn and experience this in our lives is worked out as we worship together and live life fully. So for this autumn term we have many new opportunities to do just that - by connecting to a small group.

Some of the new groups include how to reach out to Muslims, life after separation or divorce, handling money well, living a supernatural life and singing barber shop. Take some time now to check through what is happening and go for something different! Groups start week commencing Monday 28th of September.

Here are three reasons to take this opportunity:• You can make new friends with similar interests.• You can grow in your faith and discover more of the amazing fullness of life

in Christ.• You can be the best encourager and coach of others alongside you.

Come along and make this autumn a new start with purpose and significance. I do hope you choose to seek out more of the fullness that you were made for!

Yours,

‘I started coming to New Life Church this summer and have been going along to the 20s small group. I have

really enjoyed having the opportunity to meet lots of new people and develop friendships. I have also

enjoyed having the opportunity to pray with others and to be encouraged in my walk with Christ.’

SMALL GROUPS | Autumn Term 2015 What is a small group?

Q: What is a Small Group? It’s simply a way for up to fifteen people to meet in a convenient location around MK in order to make some great new friends and in most cases to learn more about their faith at the same time! We can gather round an interest, a course or a more meeting-type format to just do life and have fun! Most of the groups will run in a 9-10 week termly style so that there is enough time to build friendships but you’re not signing up forever! We’ll have a short break before kicking off the next term’s groups. Of course, you are totally welcome to keep in touch with your new friends as suits you.

Q: How do I join a Small Group? There are two easy ways to join a small group:

1. Sign up on-line by going to newlifechurchmiltonkeynes.churchapp.co.uk/my and sign in using ChurchApp (Go to the ‘My Groups’ section). If you are not on Church App (our secure church database) please email [email protected] to get a login. By registering through ChurchApp you will immediately have confirmation of your registration.

2. Fill in your details and selection on the last page of the directory then tear it out and put it in the offering basket, hand it in at the small group desk, or drop it into the office during the week. We will confirm your place by email as soon as possible.

You are welcome to book onto two groups if you have the time, but no more please as we want to fit in as many people as possible!
