Whilst some benefits became apparent immediately (faster dispatch speed for instance) the longer-term benefits only emerged when they realised that the business had improved dramatically in several areas. It was also a ‘wake up’ call as to just how much they had been struggling with their previous system which couldn’t handle more than 150 jobs per hour and also just how much the previous system had been holding them back. They had tolerated a system that couldn’t do the job leaving them frustrated at having to manually dispatch jobs that had been building up. Ghost dispatch is much faster than the old system

Another good example of long-standing customer relations with Autocab is Olympic Cars in Manchester who installed our system back in the nineties. At that time they had just twenty cars and a voice only system. Throughout their time with us Olympic have consistently upgraded to keep up to date with the latest technology which has been of paramount importance in their development and expansion. Operating a mixed fleet of standard saloons, minibuses and executive cars they provide a fast and reliable service to Manchester. Their recent merger with Oxford cars expands the fleet to over 250 vehicles and their coverage to include all areas within the M60.

The team at Olympic have worked very closely with us over the years and have always been one of the first companies to install our latest software. By doing this and maintaining a high level of service the company has not only improved in efficiency and productivity but has expanded significantly in the process. This is, of course, music to the ears of the owners and directors of Olympics who are quick to point out that this success is not just down to all the hard work they have put in but primarily due to the Autocab system.

The Ghost booking and dispatch system was installed at their base just over a year ago and along with it came an increase in bookings and an improvement in dispatch handling that signalled the start of a new era culminating in the

Phantom is the most profitable phone system

on the market

Imagine a system that not only improves profits but reduces overheads at the same time. It sounds like a dream system, doesn’t it? Not anymore, because Phantom telephone system does exactly that. It is quite simply the most advanced and profitable system on the market. It comprises of fully integrated IVR (Interactive Voice Response), call recording and a dual-server which provides an auto back-up facility so the system will not go down.

Phantom has been taking the taxi industry by storm. Although it has only just been released this month there are a number of firms who have been trialling the system with great effect. This increase is largely due to IVR freeing up the phone lines so more callers can get through - especially useful during peak periods. By catching calls that would normally be missed they are taking more bookings. Not only that but, as customers receive such a good service from the advanced IVR, repeat bookings have also increased.

The intelligent IVR system is self-populating, automatically adding users to the system by offering them their top three most regular jobs which the caller can select by simply pressing 1, 2, or 3. Should the user start using another job

more regularly then Phantom intelligently moves this up their list and will offer it in the top three list. If that wasn’t enough, the customer can also get an update on the status of their taxi without speaking to the operator (of course they always have the option to speak to the operator at any time). Auto back-up facility

As with Ghost (booking and dispatch software) Phantom has a high resiliency (back-up) in the form of a dual server which will take over automatically in the event of any failure to the main server, however unlikely that may be.
