production levels driven by an increasing demand and export
dynamism in developing economies.
In 2010, With over 77 million motor vehicles produced in more
than 40 countries, the industry has witnessed a growth of
approximately 25.8% percent.
North America, Western Europe and Japan, (Triad) are the mature
automotive market
Emerging automotive markets are BRIC nations
United States is to become a significant net importer of cars, owing
to the higher cost of domestically manufactured products
