Rodondi Professor of Military Science Augusta University March 19, 2019 Our Keynote Speaker LTC Danielle Rodondi Professor of Military Science Augusta University LTC Danielle K. Rodondi hails from Island Pond, Vermont and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Castleton State College in 1997. She entered the Army in the Skills for Stripes program and served 4 years as a 91C at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She continued her work at Walter Reed for the next 4 years. In 2004, LTC Rodondi earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland and received a direct commission. In 2010, she earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Florida Southern College as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her military education includes AMEDD Officer Basic Course, AMEDD Captain’s Career Course, and Intermediate Level Ed. LTC Rodondi assumed duties as the Professor of Military Science, Augusta University May 2017. Her previous assignments include Nurse Liaison/Program Instructor Medical/Surgical/ Pediatric, Dwight D Eisenhower Army Medical Center; Clinical Nurse Specialist, Dwight D Army Medical Center; Conner Troop Medical Clinic, Fort Drum NY; Staff Nurse, Madigan Army Medical Center; Staff Nurse Intermediate Care Unit, Tikrit, Iraq; Step Down Staff Nurse, Madigan Army Medical Center. Head Nurse/Charge/Staff Nurse Cardio Thoracic Step Down, Staff Nurse, Cardio Thoracic and Organ Transplant Step Down, WRAMC. Her awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal (3), Army Achievement Medal (2), Meritorious Unit Commendation (2), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon. LTC Rodondi is a board Certified Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is a member of Army Nurse Corps Association and the American Nurses Association.
