2. Business Overview
• TAP’s main business activities include palm oil plantation and mills through subsidiaries and association companies with products such as Fresh Fruit
Bunches (FFB), Palm Kernel (PK), and Crude Palm Oil (CPO), and rubber plantation with products such as Slabs, and Ribbed Smoke Sheets (RSS).
• TAP engages in nucleus and plasma partnership program with local farmers who reside within TAP and subsidiaries’ plantation area.
• In 2007, TAP established an associate company with PT Union Sampoerna, named PT Union Sampoerna Triputra Persada which operates in the
province of Central Kalimantan engaging in the palm oil plantation and mills industry through its subsidiaries.
• TAP utilizes modern technology in its operational activities to increase efficiency. The utilized technology can divided into 3 parts:
