Course Description :

This workshop covers the basics in auditing your own HR Department and its policies and practices. It is a reminder and update for the seasoned professional and a checklist for those newer to the profession or those taking on a broader scope of responsibility.

Auditing the Human Resources function in a company is not only a means to perform "due diligence" and minimize liability, but it serves as a measuring tool to determine what needs to be improved to achieve a higher standard of excellence and to assure fair and consistent handling of human resource management leading to a more content and productive workforce.

Course Description :

This 2 day seminar covers legal requirements, employment policies, employee record maintenance, employment practices, performance management, discipline and terminations. Each section will give proactive measures and best practices to assure the organization has equitable and effective human resource management.

Adding mock interviews and case studies will show how to put policies into practice effectively and apply theory to real workplace situations. This will be an interactive workshop with open discussions and the opportunity to practice in a safe and supportive setting.
