Despite the fact the song and genre I have chosen for my media project is quite mainstream and would appeal to a large amount of people I decided to carry out research of what would be the potential audience for my product.

I gave 50 people on facebook a questionnaire.

This chart reflects on the previous one as each of this bands represents different type of rock music. And here once again it is shown that the majority of the audience likes alternative rock as Coldplay performs this genre. Oasis also performs alternative rock however they are less popular nowadays.

Seeing that information proved once again that alternative rock is a popular genre of music and since “Wonderwall” is also alternative rock song it would appeal to large amount of people

I also researched “Wonderwall”

And Finally I looked at ‘(What’s the story) Morning Glory’ – the album ‘Wonderwall’ was part of

This shows that in the middle 90s the album was popular not only in the UK but worldwide.
