Under CSIR Project titled “Synthesis and Characterization of Shear Thickening Fluid for

Energy Absorbing Devices”. Fluid that causes a simple cloth to stop bullet. Become skilled

at using rheometer, ultra-sonicator, centrifuge etc.

M.TECH DISSERTATION

Thesis title “Modelling and simulation of spiral coil heat exchanger”. Done modelling of

spiral coil heat exchanger and simulated it using MS-Excel.

EXPERIMENTAL

TECHNIQUES

SEPARATION

Used high speed cooling centrifuge for a number experiments.

MIXING

Ultra Sonicator is used for mixing by sonic waves. Mixing is very fine.

Cyclo-mixer is also used in several sets of experiment.

DATA ACQUISITION (DAQ)

Modular Compact Rheometer is used to get different results for different set of

experiments.
