How the AT&T Code Management Platform worksWhen a code is scanned by a smartphone, it is sent to a server along with the user’s information (i.e. time stamp, device make & model, device language setting, consumer-provided location, age and gender). The server responds with the action desired by the marketer (mobile web page, video, phone call, etc.) and directs the smartphone to that experience.
