Atlas CW1040 The Atlas CW1040 Primary Slitter Rewinder delivers higher efficiency and more productivity, with higher quality rewind reels, reduced noise levels and more effective operator control systems.

It has an improved web path configuration, with air-conditioned electrical

control cabinets fully integrated in to the unwind section. Less space is

needed for installation, as ‘under floor’ service channels are not required.

High efficiency motors, improved hydraulics and a reduction in electrical

wiring make the CW1040 a more environmentally friendly slitting and

rewinding solution. A fully integrated HMI master control screen, mounted

on the control desk, simplifies operation of the machine, with screens

positioned around the machine for operator interface.

Unwind Station The unwind station incorporates regenerative motors for optimum unwind tension control with edge guide and option oscillation.

Wireless Rewind Arm Positioning Rewind arms are positioned using industrial

‘Bluetooth’ technology which also sends speed

and tension references automatically to the drives.

Power is provided by a DC bus-bar located under

the rewind beams.

Rewind Arms Three types of rewind arms are available for slit widths as narrow as 200mm with heavy-duty arms for wider reels and rewind diameters up to 1500mm. A reduced number of belts per driven rewind arm improves reliability. The rewind motors have torque characteristics which increase efficiency and productivity.

Drive Control Panels The electrical control panels are air-conditioned

and fully integrated to the rear

which reduces the space required for

installation and reduces the overall machine

footprint.

Atlas CW964 The Atlas CW964 Slitter Rewinder is installed in many film production plants around the world processing BOPP, BOPET, BOPP, CPP and Synthetic Papers.

The web tension control system utilised in the CW964, together with the

individual rewind station ensure rewound rolls are of the highest quality.

The CW964 has a fault diagnostic system that can be supported by Atlas

service technicians around the world, ensuring you get the fastest possible

fault identification and minimum down time for your production.

Shaftless Unwind A shaftless unwind incorporates regenerative motors for optimum unwind tension control, with edge guidance and optional oscillation.

Motorised Web Threader A web threading system is included to reduce the changeover time of the machine. The system grips the web and automatically draws it through the various sections of the slitter.

Gel Coat Roll Hard polished epoxy material forming a

supremely slippery surface to avoid creases

and crinkling of material.

Splice Table (Opt.)

Splice table provides the operator

with the ideal environment for

perfect fast splicing.

Tension Control / Dancer Precision tension control is achieved through

dancer roll feedback from the unwind.

Edge Puller (Opt.)

An edge puller is used on thicker web materials to ensure the web is flat and crease-free before entering the knife section.

Bowed Roll

A bowed roll is used on thinner materials to ensure that the web is flat and free from creases before entering the knife section.

Atlas CW800 The Atlas CW800 is our most successful and versatile secondary slitter rewinder operating in many film plants and convertors across the world.

The CW800 is an individual station centre winder exclusively for converting

BOPP, BOPET, BOPA and CPP films that can be plain, metal or AlOx coated.

When processing coated products it is essential that no scratching or marking

of the film occurs. The tension control and individual rewind stations used

ensure that the finish of rewound reels are free from defects.

Using the latest technology, the built-in fault diagnostic system ensures

that you get the fastest possible fault identification and minimum down

time.

Atlas CW500 The Atlas CW500 slitter rewinder is a narrow width Centre winder for BOPP film, used principally in the packaging of tobacco products. It features the manual setting of knives, rewind arms and slit reel unload.

The machine has one individual pair of rewind arms for each rewound reel.

Each reel is driven by an individual electric motor, attached to the rewind

arms, and is acted upon by an individual rubber covered contact roll. This

allows rewinding to the optimum tension ensuring perfect edge alignment

and the highest quality as demanded by the end users of this product.
