Followingthecall,athleteswillfollowthebluecarpettakingthemtotheswimstart

Theswimstartwillbebeachstart.Itisaonelapcourse500mtobeswamclockwise.Thefirstbuoyis150m,thisisfollowedbyaslightrighthandturntowardsthesecondbuoy,anotherslightturntowardsthesecondbuoyandathirdturntowardsthethirdbuoy.Alastslightrighthandturntowardsthelastbuoyandthenfinalrighthandturnbringsthemtothelast150mstraightbacktotheexit.WhenexitingtheywillfindaslightsteeppartthatleadsthemintotheTransitionarea.
