RE/MAX and Children’s Miracle Network:

The Miracle Home Program is the RE/MAXorganization’s flagship program for contributingfunds to Children’s Miracle Network. MiracleHome is a registered trademark and usedexclusively in the partnership between RE/MAXand Children’s Miracle Network.

When RE/MAX International became the officialreal estate sponsor for Children’s MiracleNetwork in 1992, we had two objectives: affiliatewith a national charity distinguished forimproving health care for children, and make theworld a better place for the people we serve.Astronaut Christa McAuliffe once said, “I touchthe future, I teach.” We view our affiliation withChildren’s Miracle Network similarly: ThroughChildren’s Miracle Network, an alliance of 170premier health care organizations, we annuallytouch the lives of more than 17 million childrenafflicted with diseases, injuries and birth defectsof every kind. We view the health of ourbusiness as a reflection of the health of oursociety. That belief powers our commitment toimproving the health of today’s child.

Since 1983 the founding pledge of Children’sMiracle Network has been to put children firstin all of its efforts and to keep 100 percent ofdonations in the communities where thefunds are raised. These principles gained theendorsement of RE/MAX leadership andAssociates. Since its inception, Children’sMiracle Network has evolved into the dominantorganization actively providing better health carefor millions of children.

Children’s Miracle Network is an alliance ofpremier hospitals for children. It is a nonprofitorganization dedicated to helping kids by raisingfunds for 170 children’s hospitals across NorthAmerica. Children’s Miracle Network achievesits mission through three principle programs andservices.

Through television and radio, Children’s MiracleNetwork develops, produces, broadcastsand promotes awareness programming con-cerning health, welfare, and development needsof children.

Children’s Miracle Network developsrelationships with corporate partners to createfundraising programs. Children’s MiracleNetwork corporate partners raise more than$100 million each year to assist children atparticipating hospitals.

RE/MAX has a proven blueprint for success,and the charitable involvement of our SalesAssociates in their local communities is a corecomponent of that success. We know andunderstand that community involvementcontributes to increased business. Ournetwork’s commitment to premier communitycitizenship is a central tenet in the RE/MAXconcept. Children’s Miracle Network andRE/MAX share mutual interests in our localcommunities. Together, as partners instewardship, we’re improving the health ofchildren and touching the future.

• Educate families about issues such assafety seats, helmet safety and bicyclesafety.

• Train 60% of pediatricians and 80% of allpediatric specialists

• Devote 60% of all services to childrenyounger than 6

• Treat 72% of all children with pediatric AIDS

• Treat 76% of all children with cystic fibrosis

• Treat 88% of all children with cancer

• Treat 98% of all children needing heart orlung transplants

• Provide $2.5 billion in charity(uncompensated) care each year

• Treat 90% of all children with sickle cellanemia

The program is driven at the discretion ofeach RE/MAX Associate. It provides Associatesa way to contribute to their local Children’sMiracle Network hospital with each businesstransaction closed.
