Ammonia Safety Days are for anyone who owns, or works in and around ammonia refrigeration or storage facilities and for emergency responders and regulators. Meet Your Trainers Scott Melton Brisbane-Sydney-Melbourne Scott is a graduate of JM Perry Technical Institute as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician. He has 29 years of technician experience in troubleshooting, repair, and construction of industrial refrigeration systems for cold storage. Scott is the Training Division Manager for the Ammonia Safety and Training Institute and is the ASTI National Safety Day Lead Instructor. Scott also works as the Compliance, Training and Special Projects Manager for Central Washington Refrigeration. John Mott Perth Adelaide John is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, is on the National Engineering Register and is a member of the ASTI board. He has over 40 years’ experience in the ammonia refrigeration industry during which time he has worked in Consulting, Engineering, Contracting, Manufacturing, Project Management and Safety. John is passionate about the safe application and use of ammonia.
