Notice is here by given in accordance with the provisions of the Was@ Management Act 1996 and the Waste Management (Licensing) Regulations 2004 (SI No. 395 of 2004) hat Waste Recowry Sewices (Fermoy) Ltd, Cullenagh, fermoy, Co. Cork, wit1 apply to the Environmental Protech Agency for a Review of the Waste Licence in respect of their Waste Transfer Station lomted in the townland of Cullenagh, Femoy, Co. Cork (Ref. W0107-0 1 ). National Grid Reference El 79050, N95750.

It is proposed to expand the annual tonnage of wastes aocepted and pmssed at this site to 50,000 tonnes per annum. The wastes accepted will comprise of commercial, industrial, construction and demolition waste and house hold drip waste and will largely be recovered with the residue disposed of to landfill. Disposal of wastes will not occur on site.

The Classes of Waste Disposal and Recovery Activities in accordance with the Third and fourth Schedules of the Waste Management Acts 1996 to 2003 are as follows:

The principal activity carried out on the site is Class 12 of the Third Schedule.

The activities carried out are:

THIRD SCHEDULE

Class f 1 : Blending or mixture prior to submission to any activity referred to in a preding paragraph of this Schedule.

Class 12: Repackaging prior to submission to any actiwty referred to in a preceding paragraph of this M u l e .

Class 13: Stowe prior to submission to any activity referred to in a preceding paragwph of this Schedute, other than temporary storage, pending collection, on the premises where the waste concerned is produd.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

Class 2: w i n g or reclamation of organic substances which are not used as solvents (including cornposting and other biological -).

Class 3: Recycling or redarnation of metals and metat compounds. Ctass 4: Recycling or reclamation of other inorganic materials. Class 13: Storage of waste intended for submision to any activity referred to in a

preceding paragraph of this Schedule, other than temporary storage, pending collection, on the p m h where such waste is produced.

The Waste Licence Review Application will be submitted to the Agency within two weeks of the publication of this notice. An Environmshl Impact Statement (EIS) will also be submitted to the Agency with the applmtion. A copy of the application for the Review of the

= Waste Licence, the EIS, and such further information relating to the application as may be furnished to the Agency in the course of the Agency's consiaeration of the applabion will, as soon as is practicable after receipt by the Agency, be available for inspection and purchase, at the Headquarters of the Environmental Protection Agency, Johnstown Castle Estate, Wexfwd.
