• The first credits come in at 00:39 sec of the opening sequence. The credits have their own independent shot which is used to make the viewer pay more attention to it.

• This credit only lasts 2 seconds before the next scene is shown.

• The title is shown at 02:10 which is towards the end of the opening sequence. This is normal for opening sequences as titles are usually put at the end.

• The Title lasts on screen for 4 seconds which is longer then the first and only other credit which allows the viewer to remember the title. The fact that the title also gets its own screen time is not unusual.

The way that the first and only credits are shown a quarter into the opening sequence is interesting as Opening sequences tend to have more credits to them and usually share the screen time with the rest of the opening sequence.

Insidious unlike clown has credits from the very beginning of the opening sequence.

This can be used to build up tension to what the movie is actually going to be about.

The opening credits last 31 secondswhich is quite long.

The director gets his own screen timerecognition which is important as it allows

him to get credit for his work.

• The title comes up at 1:21 which is different to normal title timings as they tend to come at the end.

The actors come after the producer and the film title which shows that they are less important.

They are placed at the side of the screen so they do not cover any important parts in the opening sequence but still can be easily seen/

The producers are placed more to the ned of the opening sequence which shows their lack of overall importance.

The fact that the directors name is Shown twice is interesting as it marks his importanceAnd emphasises his role in the making of this film.
