Assessment for a Med School OSCE - M1 year

1
Assessment : This is a 19 y/o African American gentleman who presents with RIGHT sided facial paralysis. Potential diagnoses include right facial nerve palsy, or right motor cortex ischemia. The most likely diagnosis is facial nerve palsy caused by Lyme Disease due to the location of his job as a counselor at a camp during the summer (acquiring rash shortly after), changes in taste, non-acute onset, difficulty closing eyes (dry eyes), and absence of weakness anywhere else. Another possibility would be stroke due to anemia and his fathers' previous history of stroke but less likely due to the gradual onset of symptoms, lack of symptoms below the face (5/5 strength).

This is a OSCE M1 year assessment only. It's probably pretty bad. Enjoy!
