Aiming high: every slope.

AS mowers are making easy, safe, and continuous headway, not just in hilly countryside but also on steep slopes, in vineyards and mountainous areas. With a powerful rear-wheel or four-wheel drive and an AS two stroke engine especially designed for slope mowing, you will easily reach the high-est grounds. When permanently traversing a slope, the two stroke technology secures lubrica-tion thanks to the oil mixture and protects from piston seizures.

In every terrain: even in high grass.

Regular mowing is not required if an AS machine is used. High grass, scrub, densely covered areas and undergrowth are no opponents for AS mow-ers. With their sturdy design and powerful engine they will pass through everywhere and the mow-ing result will remain on a continuously high level.

Back to nature: with mulch.

Today’s grass will be tomorrow’s fertiliser since many AS mowers feature the mulch function. They do not just cut the grass; they also spray it out and chop it up at the same time (mulch). It can rot quickly, valuable nutrients are returned to the natural cycle and you, therefore, no longer need to concern yourself about two work opera-tions: tedious raking and cost-intensive disposal.

AS-MOTOR sets new class standards: AS two-stroke engines.

Even under the most extreme conditions our two-stroke engines can fall back on ample power reserves. With the crankshaft supported in 3 bear-ings, the electronic ignition and the anti-vibration engine mounts they convert energy into a solid performance. Beneficial ecological features are the very lean mixture and substantially reduced emission figures. After many years of develop-ment we have been able to drastically reduce the emission figures of our engines. A new carburetor design, optimised combustion figures and the use of catalyst silencers allow machines to be offered that conform to the latest EU Emission Directive.When work is started, the power boosters inside the AS-MOTOR machines are put in motion. All our machines are based on the same principle: motor and technology are a structural unit. Every part is built to ensure a smooth interaction with the other components. You will become aware of it because you will notice nothing unusual during operation:

Here the end of a line is the beginning of a cultivating power. As the only mower in its class the AWD model AS 53 B5 has four driven wheels and is even making headway where other mowers have reached the end of the line. Nei-ther ditches and bumps nor embankments and mountain slopes are an obstacle. The cutting height is adjustable in six steps on every axle. Wherever you are mowing, comfort and safety are your continual companions: the engine’s rubber mounts absorb the vibrations and a built-in sliding clutch prevents the drive unit and spring-steel blades from being overloaded.

There is always something to mow – the AS 53 B4 Standard is always one of the party. With the powerful torque of its 165 ccm AS 2-stroke engine and its rear-wheel drive it is making a good head-way in wet grass, high grass and in a hilly countryside. And as is proper for a professional mower, the comfort and safety are built in. The anti-vibration technology, the engine brake and the sliding clutch (preventing the engine from overloading) turn the mower into a very comfortable piece of equipment.

The new AS-Motor mulchers in the AS 510 series swirl the cuttings under their robust domed mulching deck, thereby chopping it thoroughly. The material is swirled back into the grass where it decomposes leaving no residue.Robust yet light. The new AS-Motor mulching mowers weigh less than 40 kg thus making them simple andeasy to handle. The AS 510 Mulching Unit:stable mulching dome, additional reinforced blade bearing and mulching blade made of spring steel. These components provide for finely chopped mulch that remains on the surface, thus fertilising the lawn in a natural way.

And the special plus: removal of the grass cuttings is not required.

Whoever is looking for the right solution to excep-tional needs will find excellent assistance here with which to achieve excellent results.

Take the flail mowers for example. They are known for the masterly way in which they spray out the cuttings. These machines will give you an excellent mulching performance. The cut grass can stay on the ground and serve as fertiliser for the new grass. With a working width of up to 70 cm, you will also be able to process large areas within a short peri-od. You can rely on professional equipment from the AS-MOTOR Comfort Class so you can put your feet up when others are still working.

Whoever uses the cuttings as feed needs a clean cut and not too much extra work. The disc mowers will simplify this to a large extent as the cuttings are deposited in exemplary fashion in rows in a swathe. Half the work is then done, you just need to stack it in rows and that’s all.

When mowing has to be done in woods and meadows, a machine is needed that gets through everywhere: the Allmäher® AS 28/4 Enduro. It has pneumatic tyres with an agricultural tread that fights its way through the most difficult terrain. With its powerful mowing and mulching gears, there is no terrain which it could not mow. There are no compromises:The mowing attachment will win you over witha pendulum mounted blade cover with reducedblade drive combined with electromagnetic bladeclutch and blade brake. The ground coverage amounts to 7,300 m2 an hour and it manages to cut grass up to 120 cm high. A B&S twin cylinder 4-stroke engine delivering 16 HP provides a power-ful forward thrust, which transfers a great deal of traction to the rear axle by the variable hydrostatic transmission and the differential lock. It takes tight hairpin bends and tree-covered fields in its stride with its turning circle of 0.8 m.

There is no need to exert yourself if you want to do a good job – provided you have the right tool. The Weed-Hex AS 50 from AS-MOTOR is such a tool: it removes weed and makes sure that it does not regrow all that fast, because it also safely, quickly and carefully loosens the fertile soil - purely in a mechani-cal manner without using chemicals. Everything is collected in a practical collecting bag and can be eas-ily disposed of.

The Weed-Hex is used in traffic areas, on walls, curbs and between paving stones. The patented pendulum brush system preserves the surfaces and prevents paving stones from becoming loose. It is a reliable piece of equipment for sporting grounds, administra-tion buildings, hospitals and industrial establishments and with its 50 cm working width also extremely efficient.

No more burning or spraying with poison:Municipal workers and landscape gardeners now choose technology instead of chemicals or intensive manual labour. Our galvanized, plastic-coated mower steel housings are unbreakable and indestructible. Par-ticularly resilient are the stainless steel Bowden cables even under continuous service. Production of the machines is carried out by our longstanding, experienced employees in the Swa-bian Bühlertann taking all quality aspects into account and thereby undergoing an ongoing eva-luation process. The unique off-road capability of the AS-MOTOR ride-on mowers stands for uncompromising safe-ty on the slopes.From the very beginning, we attached particular importance to a low weight and a low centre of gravity. You can traverse a slope or steep hill with an inclination of up to 17° – the mower stays balanced. Our ergonomically formed bucket seat gives additional support. We have equipped our ride-on mowers with pow-erful engines providing off-road capability jointly with the differential lock. The all-wheel drive of the AS 9404 enhances this property.

The AS-MOTOR 2-stroke engines manufactured by us are the only lawnmower engines in the world with a catalyst, thereby meeting the EU exhaust emission standard.

High steep-slope capability is enabled thanks to the specially developed 2-stroke engine principle, operating at high speed and with a powerful torque. High and wet grass, too, can be easily handled by the strong torque. Another advantage: The 2-stroke mixture guaran-tees optimum and constant lubrication on the most extreme slopes.
