What is Amateur Radio?Amateur Radio (or “ham radio”) provides the broadest and most powerful wireless communica ons capability available to any private ci zen anywhere in the world. This worldwide community of ham radio operators uses every conceivable means of wireless communica ons technology. They use their radios for emergencies, experimenta on, and fun!
