1. Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) Now you can get a heads up, even if you can’t see what’s slowing you down. A radar sensor on the front of Armada constantly monitors two vehicles ahead in your lane. When the system detects that vehicle’s sudden deceleration, it gives you an audible warning and a visual signal on the instrument panel.1

Forward Emergency Braking (FEB)This system keeps an eye on your speed and proximity to the vehicle ahead of you, warning you if you need to slow down. It can also apply braking if you fail to respond to help you avoid a collision. If a collision is unavoidable, this feature will engage the brakes to help reduce speed of impact and the severity of a collision.2

2. Lane Departure Warning (LDW)Using cameras, this system recognizes the lane in which your vehicle is traveling. When you unintentionally drift out of the lane, the system alerts you with a visual warning on the display and an audible signal.3,4

Lane Departure Prevention (LDP)If you continue to drift after visual and audible warnings, Lane Departure Prevention can apply the brakes to help move the vehicle back into your intended lane.4,5

3. Blind Spot Warning (BSW) If another vehicle is detected in the blind spot area, an indicator appears in the driver’s or front passenger’s door pillar and on the Advanced Drive-Assist® Display. Then, if you put your turn signal on, the indicator flashes with a warning chime.6

Blind Spot Intervention (BSI)This advanced system helps alert you to vehicles in the blind spot area. It also actively assists you back toward the centre of your travel lane if you begin to move over.4,7

4. Moving Object Detection (MOD)When the Around View® Monitor is in use and detects moving objects near the vehicle, it gives a visual and audible alert.8

5. Backup Collision Intervention (BCI)When you’re backing out of a parking space, this feature watches the area around the rear of your Armada, and can warn you about detected vehicles you might not see behind you approaching from either side. So backing up feels easier than ever.9
