ARIANIZATION OF GREECEAND HELLENIZATION OF BAVARIA

Ever since the establishment of the Kingdom of Greece, thereve been Dark Forces at work to erase its rich national past in order to build a national model based and influenced by Classical Greece. Since the first blossoming results of Greek independence its nation building and identity is interwoven with myth. The obsession of the Old Great powers to strike a final blow in the coffin of the declining and deteriorating Ottoman Empire as well as to enforce their dominant place and exercise their position of strength and power over the region has seen many relentless efforts to infiltrate and penetrate deep into Greek politics. Here as always prominent role would be played by intrigue and court politics would make decisions of few to determine the life of many. The Greek national legend would be a purely Bavarian adventure and would marry the two distant countries in an effort to build a common future based on Antiquity.Germany back then is still far from being a powerful and united modern state, however, Ludwig of Bavaria would be among the first to bid for his son Ottos ascendency as a king of Greeces young monarchy. In one of the most bizarre moves of power play in known history, a young Bavarian prince would be crowned as the King of Greece.Ottos father, Ludwig was a well-known Philhellene and was obsessed to reinvent own national history in order to forge a direct link between Classical Greece and Bavaria. This he believed would provide consistency in the theory of a superior race, as it would connect Hellenism with the Arian ideology. This national myth found very deep roots in Greece as well as united Germany later on, as both would be heavily influenced by this evolving idea of a superior race.By then Richard Wagners idea of a superior human and his anti-Semitic rants would arouse many among who would be one Friedrich Nietzsche.Carefully harvesting and elaborating on the idea of racial superiority, theyll plant the seeds of the Arian Super Man, who would be a building block in the Third Reich and would heavily influence Nazi Germany. This relationship would be very mutual, and the Royal connection would provide many ideas that would flow in two directions, heavily influencing and Aryanising Greece as well as Hellenising Germany with ideas from Antiquity and classical Greece.Racial purity being among the first and foremost ideas of a purely racist and ultranationalist ideology such as the one of Arian superior race, Greece had been very incompatible with these ideas as it had always been traditionally multi-ethnic and cosmopolitan. The only other non-Antiquity element that would be the predominant pillar in the formation of the new national identity would be the Church and Orthodox Christianity. This merger between Hellenism and the Greek Orthodox Church would create the new national model. This would be followed by a systematic campaign of assimilation to which many communities such as the Arvanites would be stripped entirely of their heritage and identity to be incorporated into the New Greek national model. It is in the genesis of the new Kingdom of Greece where the one nation-one religion model would be introduced and implemented thru a state sponsored program of ethnic cleansing, genocide and total conversion of those who would make the tough decision to remain in the newly established state.Using the same excuse for their involvement as it would be done to preserve the fragile balance of power in the region, as well as to reduce the threat of Russian expansion as well as Slav hegemony, a decision would be made at a conference in London in 1832 to install a stable government in Greece under a Bavarian king.Of course, as racial purity would predominate the new ideal for the Greek national model, in order to facilitate this and incorporate this new identity into being, the whole country must undergo a substantial transition from a traditionally multinational and cosmopolitan to a strictly one nation state. In reality the only way that this could be implemented would be thru a relentless campaign of forced conversion and assimilation as well as thru the use of force to expel or eliminate the vast non-Greek population that lives all over Greece and the later acquired Aegean Macedonia. From the very beginning to the more informed ones this meant an aggressive and relentless campaign of ethnic cleansing, expulsion, genocide and mass murder, as in certain parts particularly in Aegean Macedonia, the Greeks have only formed a tiny fraction of the urban population. Racial purity and superiority being absolutely paramount, the great powers saw this as an effort to preserve the Western heritage of sophistication and cultural world domination.Of course, as the multi-cultural and cosmopolitan social fabric of the region was incompatible to the notion of Arian purity, the great powers fully endorsed the implementation of the state sponsored programme of ethnic cleansing. In the process everything would be absolutely done to swipe the evidence under the carpet and for the great powers wanted the blood wiped off their hands, official history would see to that all events are totally forged and replaced from all records and history books. The first modern genocide would take place in Macedonia with full consent and involvement of the great powers, not only thru moral support and logistics but by the use of force just as well
