Vedic Math and Abacus CompetitionIndian Institute of Vedic Math & Abacus organised a written mathtest, open to all students, at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, NewDelhi in which 3,122 children attempted to solve math questionson Sunday Dec 20, 2015. Registrations were done through schoolsweeks ahead and on-spot registrations were also open on the day.Children were provided sealed question papers with 100 questionsat around 12.30 pm and were given 10 min to attempt as manyquestions as possible. Only Abacus was allowed for calculations.

Multiplication of same number to itselfOn August 25, 2015, Vivek Raj (b March 13,1990) of Alappuzha, Kerala accuratelymultiplied a 2 digit number to itself over andover until it reached 11 digits in 15 seconds.

Abacus Champs AcademyOn May 3, 2016, the following records wereattempted with 100% accuracy. The studentswere trained by Davinder Singh, chief mentorand head teacher Ravinder Kaur. The eventswere monitored by Anant Kasibhatla of MyMemory Zone in New Delhi.
