Spectra Collection

Aqata proudly introduce the new arrivals to the amazing Spectra

Collection with the fabulous SP500 Quintet hinged door, the

superb SP457 hinged door and inline panel and the new SP490

inward folding Spectra bathscreen. Spectra is a stunning collection

of contemporary frameless shower enclosures and shower screens

including curved and straight glass screens, hinged panels, spacious

walk ins, hinged and sliding door enclosures.

The Spectra frameless glass range also utilises the latest advances

in waterproof bonding. The unique system was developed by

Aqata’s design team to facilitate Spectra’s easy installation, as large

panels can be easily transported and assembled on site. Spectra also

has built in wall adjustment for out of true walls, and is created from

the finest material using 8mm thick glass with polished edges

toughened to EN12150-1. Quality fittings are used throughout the

range with solid corner brackets, hinges and substantial handles in

beautiful polished chrome.

The Spectra sliding door range incorporates stunning spans of 8mm

toughened frameless glass, with stylish chrome and polished

stainless steel accents. The 2000mm high shower enclosures have

a smooth gliding door action, central clear seals, adjustable wall

profiles and discreet positive magnetic closing.

The Spectra sliding door is available in a range of sizes and

configurations. Spectra SP300 for the perfect recess option, 1200,

1400 and 1600mm wide. The Spectra SP310 sliding door closes

onto the side screen or the Spectra SP305 which closes onto the

wall, these sumptuous corner options are available in 1200x800mm,

1200x900mm, 1400x900mm, or 1600x800mm. The practical and

spacious 825mm radius curve of the Spectra SP350 Quadrant

makes excellent use of corner space, available in sizes 900x900mm

or 1200x900mm. All Spectra sliding doors are available with left or

right hand door positions.

Spectra is suitable for use in a wet room application or with Aqata’s

wide range of fitter friendly shower trays.This exceptional range is

designed to cope with the rigours of daily showering, Spectra

SP300, SP305, SP310 and SP350 sliding doors are ideal for power

showers & body jets.

The versatile shower trays have a superb finish and perfectly

complement the sleek lines of the Spectra shower enclosures.

The low level shower tray has an optional front panel with

adjustable legs which allows flexibility with a choice of installation,

low level, fitted flush to the tile or raised above the floor. Each tray

comes complete with a quality chrome finish fast flow waste with

removable trap for easy cleaning.

Spectra SP300 Sliding Door Recess Option

The Spectra SP300 creates the perfect recess enclosure for any home with pristine clear glass

adding to the feeling of light and space. The generous 2000mm high single sliding door glides

smoothly and effortlessly, and closes securely onto discreet magnetic door seals. The clear

central seals keep shower spray at bay whilst maintaining the frameless aesthetic.

Available in both left or right hand sliding door options in three standard sizes 1200mm,

1400mm or 1600mm wide. The Spectra range is ideal for wet room installation, directly onto

a wet room floor, or partnered with one of our superb and versatile shower trays (see page

151) combining a beautiful finish with practical fast flow waste and striking contemporary design.

Complementing the Spectra SP300 sliding door is the Linneal LNW500 thermostatic shower.

The Spectra SP305 combines the best of contemporary styling with superb performance

and outstanding quality. Frameless glass edges enhance the levels of light and the feeling of

space. Slim wall profiles each allow 25mm adjustment for a perfect fit. The sliding door glides

smoothly and effortlessly closing onto discrete magnetic door seals. The Spectra sliding door

corner enclosure is available in left or right hand options in four sizes 1200x800, 1200x900,

1400x900 and 1600x800mm. The versatile low level shower tray can be fitted inset flush to

the floor, floor mounted or raised above floor level using the optional leg and panel pack.

The Spectra SP400 in stunning frameless glass can be integrated with Aqata’s stylish range of

Linneal thermostatic showers. The Linneal LNB200 shower featured on the right has a shower

brace designed to support the screen, built in diverter, anti scale round head, adjustable riser

Spectra SP448 Double Entry Shower Screen & Hinged Panels

The Spectra SP448 provides a spacious and practical wetroom showering area with 350mm

hinged panels which can be adjusted to deflect the spray. Created from quality toughened clear

glass with polished chrome hinges and featuring a continuous full length seal.

Designed specifically for wetrooms the SP448 is available in the following sizes, 1000, 1100,

1200 and 1400mm plus two fully adjustable 350mm hinged panels which fold through 180°.

Not suitable for use with standard shower trays.

The fabulous Linneal LNC210 shower has a luxurious large square ceiling mounted shower

Dwarf wall side panelsDwarf wall side panels are available on Exclusive

Solutions and Spectra ranges. To assist installation

on our fully framed Exclusive Solutions range the

adjustable profile is machined to allow the side

screen to sit onto the wall by 15mm and sit flush

on the inside. We recommend that the wall is

constructed next to the shower tray and then tiled

on the inside to meet the top of the tray and form

a watertight seal. All measurements must be taken

after tiling and from the top of the shower tray.

applications and overcomes the need to construct stud walls. Aqata have developed a special

H section profile to allow you to have a perfect furniture panel with many different options

and the furniture will butt up to the centre of this profile giving a perfect seal.

The top section is glass, and the lower section can be selected from the following standard options;

Care and Maintenance

ClearShield is available on all Aqata enclosures, doors and screens. This unique

product is applied to the inside of the glass and works just like ‘non-stick’

cookware, acting as a protective barrier on the surface of the glass.

ClearShield protection for glass provides a surface that:

Resists staining from hard water deposits

Saves time and effort and is easier to clean

Keeps your shower looking like new for longer

Creates a more hygienic environment

Does not support the growth of bacteria

Unprotected glass can quickly and easily suffer permanent bonding of limescale

/ mineral salts onto its surface causing staining and physical damage. Water

spots become very difficult, if not impossible to remove despite regular cleaning.

As a result, the appearance and hygienic environment of the shower

are spoiled.

The surface of ClearShield glass is chemically non-reactive and ‘non-stick’.

Limescale and other dirt will build up only half as fast, and will not bond to the

glass. Cleaning is now a very simple task.

ClearShield ‘Non-Stick’ glass is used in a wide range of domestic, commercial,

industrial and marine applications. It has received major awards and recognition

because of its outstanding performance, even in the harshest environments.

Glass Protection System

Aftercare for ClearShield glassHarsh and abrasive cleaning materials can be harmful to you

and to the environment. Specialist After-Care for shower glass

has been developed to gain the maximum performance from

ClearShield glass. It is a very effective cleaner and disinfectant

with a special ClearShield enhancer and can be used on the

glass, framework and shower tray. Using this unique after care

product in a simple and regular manner, you will find that it

enhances the benefits of having ClearShield on your shower,

keeping your enclosure looking like new for longer.

Care programmeAqata’s Screens and Shower Enclosures are designed

for a lifetime of luxury showering and with a little care

and attention you can keep your enclosure looking

like new. Aqata strongly recommend that the glass

and the framework are wiped down after every use

with a squeegee and dried with a soft cloth.

Shower traysClean after every use with warm soapy water or mild detergent and wipe dry with a

soft cloth, never use gritty or abrasive cleaner. Limescale or fine scratches can be removed

by the light use of T-Cut Original applied with a damp cloth and then polished off. Easy

access waste trap should be removed and cleaned weekly, ensuring any debris is cleared.

Top tips• Always remove any water remaining on the glass, frame and fittings

• Do not allow limescale to build up on the enclosure

• Polish the glass and framework with Aqata Cleaner once a week

• Do not leave neat cleaning products on the surfaces

• Do not use any “spray on and leave” cleaning products

• Ensure any non Aqata cleansers are non-abrasive and between pH 4 & 8

• Do not use any cleaning products outside the recommended pH values

• To remove limescale a solution of 50:50 white vinegar and water can be used

• Ensure vinegar solution is rinsed thoroughly and polished off with a dry cloth

Glass cleanerAqata Glass Cleaner has been specially designed for use on the glass, framework

and shower trays and should be used at least once a week for maximum effect.

Aqata Glass Cleaner has the added value of being environmentally friendly. This

product should only be used on standard glass and not on ClearShield glass.

Standard Shower Trays Aqata’s new generation of versatile standard low level shower trays

trays have an optional removable panel and adjustable legs which allows

flexibility with a choice of installation, low level, flush or raised above the floor.

Using the most up-to-date technology and a unique construction to produce

Linneal Shower Technical AdviceAqata has chosen to work in conjunction with the industry experts to

produce a superb thermostatic shower valve with patented design that is

manufactured to exacting standards.

The unique cartridge design enters a new generation of thermostatic valve

technology and features TMV2 approved anti scalding. Factored at 38°C to

44°C for safe showering temperatures our thermostatically controlled

shower valves have no need for the red button system.

• Precise flow control

• Precise thermostatic control to +/- 1°C even when there

is a change in water pressure

• To prevent scalding the valves have full thermal protection

for either hot or cold water shut off. Automatic shutdown within

1.5 seconds if hot or cold water supplies fail

• The valve cartridge is highly resistant to limescale/calcium build

up even in hard water areas

• Unique integral waterway construction with innovative reverse

flow adaptability

• Ceramic disc cartridge on/off control

• Suitable for use with all systems, gravity fed, pumped,

unvented high pressure or fully modulated combi boilers

• Complete brass body valve with front access shut off valves for

easy maintenance

• Thermostatic concealed shower valve

• Polished chrome control knobs and valve plate

• The valve can deliver 8.8 litres per minute at 0.1 Bar Pressure

and operate to a maximum pressure of 5 Bar. (see flow chart)

• To obtain the best performance from shower heads

we recommend a pumped, unvented, or fully modulated combi

boiler system

• Advice should be taken from your retailer or plumber to achieve

your desired showering expectations

in the quality and reliability of our products enables us to offer a lifetime guarantee* on

all Aqata shower enclosures, a five year guarantee on Aqata bathroom accessories and

Linneal showers and a one year guarantee on shower trays. This guarantee does not

cover wear and tear or damage caused during fitting or misuse. Spare parts are

chargeable after two years. Please refer to our guarantee for full details.

Continual ImprovementOur Company policy is one of continual improvement and Aqata reserve the right to

amend designs, specifications and prices without prior notice. E&OE. Shower tray heights

can vary due to manufacturing tolerances of ± 5mm. The description chrome when

referring to Aqata shower enclosures applies to surface finishes only. Aqata bathroom

accessories, Linneal Showers, Spectra hinges and brackets are manufactured from brass

in polished chrome. All products are subject to availability.

Returns PolicyBecause of the bespoke nature of Aqata products a re-stocking charge plus carriage

charge will apply on all returned items. We will not re-stock any specials, etched or

ClearShield glass orders, or products over 3 months old. Damaged goods will not be

credited.

UsageWatertightness is a key consideration when choosing your shower enclosure. If you require

complete water retention especially when using power showers and body jets choose from

our framed enclosures or the Spectra Sliding Door Collection. Install your enclosure in a well

ventilated area as steam and condensing vapour can result in mineral deposits/build up. Please

note that with shower screens and walk in enclosures water spray may extend beyond the

length of the glass panel, dependent upon the power of the shower and its position. Please

ensure a suitable waterproof and sealed floor finish is used outside the showering area.

Some Exclusive Solutions and Spectra products have pre-assembled frames. Please consider

the site access available and dimensions when ordering sliding door enclosures or large panels

of glass. Please check the technical information in the price list when ordering products.

Glass EtchingsAqata has an In-House glass etching service offering a wide

standard range of designs and we also specialise in creating

unique etchings for corporate clients who require their own

logos or company branding or for individuals who require their

own personal design.

All designs are etched onto the outside of clear glass unless

otherwise stated. Due to their size some designs are not available

for all enclosures. Primarily designed for the Exclusive Solutions

Collection all over etching and modesty panels are also available

for the Spectra and Minimalist ranges of enclosures, on straight

glass only. Etching onto curved glass is limited. Because of the

wide range of etching patterns we are unable to illustrate them

all. All etchings are priced per panel. Please contact our sales

department for more information.
