April 21, 2019 Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.(Acts 10:38) On this Easter Sunday, open your hearts to receive Gods love, mercy and forgiveness. LAST SUNDAYS COLLECTION $8,010.25 April 21 –28 To Those Who Bring Small Children to Church: There you are at church. Your baby or toddler is restless. Perhaps even a little boisterous. You try to silence them, and nothing. You try to pacify them with food or toys, and nothing. Eventually, you resort to the last thing you wanted to do: you pick them up, and before a watching audience, you make the march out of the church. All the while youre a little embarrassed, maybe a little frustrated too. You might even think to yourself, Theres no point in coming to church. I get nothing out of it because I have to constantly care for my kid.I want you - mothers and/or fathers - to know just how encouraging you are to so many. The elderly woman who often feels alone beams with a smile at the sight of you wrestling with your little one. Shes been there before. She knows how hard it can be, but she smiles because to hear that brings back precious memories. Seeing young parents and their small children brighten her day; she may have just received bad news about her health but seeing the vitality of young ones removes - if but for a moment - her fears. The older man who always seems to be grouchy notices you too. Hes always talking about how children in this day have no respect or sense of goodness. But he sees you - a young family - in church every week. Like clockwork, he can depend on the sight of you and your young family. You give him hope that maybe the Church isnt doomed after all, because there are still young parents who love God enough to bring their restless children to church. Bring your children to church! If we dont hear crying, the church is dying. As hard as it might be for you as a par- ent whos half-asleep, keep on doing what youre doing. You are an encour- agement, and youre starting off your childrens lives as you should. - Author unknown Our Lady of Good Hope 671 Water Avenue, Hope Saturday, May 4th at 9:00am PROJECT ADVANCE 2019 For 2019, our aspiration is to raise $130,000 and signifi- cantly improve the family participation rate. Le 21 avril 2019 LE DIMANCHE de la

RÉSURRECTION du SEIGNEUR

Va!

Amen.

Inspirational Quotes:

Life is short don’t take one day for granted, everything can change in a moment. Be grateful for all you have and all that you are. Remember who is most important to you and always cher-ish them. Life is a gift and we are Blessed.

Train your mind and heart to see the good in every-thing. There is always something to be thankful for.

To attract better, you have to become better your-self. You can’t do the same things and expect change. You can’t blame anyone or anything. It’s time to take responsibility for your reality. Start transforming your mindset. Start upgrading your habits. Start be-ing more positive. – Idil Ahmed

Happiness comes easier when you stop complaining about your problems and start being grateful for all the problems you don’t have.
