Beginning Experience The Beginning Experience is a peer ministry for separated, divorced, or widowed individuals. It is a weekend program to help move from the darkness of grief into the light of a new beginning of hope for the future. While this ministry is rooted in the Cath-olic tradition, it is open to men and women of all faiths. The next weekend retreat will be held April 26-28 2019 at the Catholic Conference and Formation Center in Dallas. LIFE NIGHTS – serve youth in grades 9 through 12 with the goal of empowering them to become stronger, more intentional disciples. The next Safe Environment training class will be held on Tuesday, April 23 @ 7pm in the Choir room in Fr. Pondant Hall. This is offered for those who need to update their training and also for those who wish to volunteer for the first time.

Safe Environment Screening procedures are to be used for volunteers who work directly with minors and vulnerable adults. Other volunteers who must follow the screening procedures are ushers/greeters. To volunteer, you should be attending Mass in our parish.

Lent is well under way. While you are trying to keep your Lenten commitments that are hopefully helping you be more intentional in your Catholic faith there are 20 people in RCIA who are in the Purification and Enlightenment phase of RCIA preparing to be fullly received into the Catholic Church at this coming Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 20th at 8:30pm. Please include these people in your prayers through the rest of Lent. Kaliegh, Keiri, Jhnonatan, Emely, Romilio, Jeff, Jaedyn, Christina, Antonio, Danytza, Joshua, Caleb, Cooper, Annette, Jacob, Vanessa, Yair, Bryan, Kamila and Nathan CELEBRATION TIME!! – After Lent is over and we have celebrated the Easter Vigil you are invited as a parish communi-ty to celebrate the New Catholics who will have received their sacraments at the Easter Vigil on Saturday evening April 20th. Immediately following the Vigil we will have a party in Father Pondant Hall. Join us in bringing food, drink, fel-lowship and joy to our New Catholics. As an individual, or encourage your ministry and group of friends to bring food and drink. This will be a potluck celebration for the whole parish in exuberance for the Resurrection and a great wel-coming of our New Catholics. BAPTISMS English Baptisms are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th

Saturday of the month at 6:00p.m. Please contact the parish office to schedule the baptism. The parents and sponsors must take a baptismal preparation class. Baptismal preparation classes are offered the 3rd Saturday of each month at10:00 a.m. in the old white church in English. Please call the parish office to register. Baptismal preparation for children ages 7 to 14 is handled in the Faith Formation Program.
