Applying for on-campus student jobs (Student Assistant & Work Study):

1. Visit www.mvcc.edu/careerworks

2. If you’ve logged into this site before enter your email and password. If you’re new to this site select

NEW STUDENT.

3. Enter your first and last name and school email (remember that it ends @student.mvcc.edu), and click

FIND ME. You will then be asked to provide some basic information about yourself.

4. Once you’re on your homepage select my jobs from the left side

5. Select Advanced Search

6. Under Job Type select On Campus to see both Work Study & Student Assistant or select only Work

Study to only see Work Study positions, then click on Search.

7. Select an individual position you’re interested in, read more about it, and click APPLY! You may apply

for multiple positions.

8. Complete steps 1-6 of the online application. Once you’ve submitted your application make sure your

voicemail is set up to receive messages and that you’re checking your student email account so that

offices you applied to can reach you to schedule interviews.
