What makes you believe that “Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s Potential” is possible?

I think that “Peace and Fullfillment of Humankind`s Potencial” is possible because there are people like me who believe in it and I think if you believe in something, it that can be real. Many people believe it is possible but also work for it. In AIESEC we are 100,000 young people that work every day to make this a reality and we have the conviction to do it. For us peace was not one of many options, it was the only option. We know that developing the potential of every person and providing a change agent to society we can achieve peace . So we are in AIESEC. It is possible because I have four years working to develop and deliver opportunities to other people and I can see the positive change in a person's life, in the reality of a family , a school, an NGO , a neighborhood, a university, a city. How not to believe in something that you see with facts that is possible ? How can we not believe when you see a person overcome their fears and dare to be better? How not believe it when you see many children with the hope for a better future? How to not believe in something that you know it's possible because you believe in it and work to achieve it ?

Please tell us what do you consider is your mission in life, and answer: how working for “Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s

Potential” contributes to your mission?

My mission in life is to be happy and make life better for others. Working for "Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind's Potential" directly contributes to my life mission that is how I can improve the lives of others starting with the development themselves. I discovered that I want to dedicate my life to the service of others, to make people believe that they can be better, that they can achieve their goals and that we must all work to improve the issues that concern us all.

Want to live in a better country? This is a message for you ... http://youtu.be/tUxGMAcbPAs

Positions in the MC 14.15 structure that I would like to have

POSITION 1: Regional Director – Central Zone.

POSITION 2: Regional Director - South Zone

I am a good choice for the role of Regional Director because I have the ability to put into practice and generate results with the knowledge that I have acquired over the 4 years that I have in AIESEC. I can work as a team, I am recognized for leadership focused on people and help members find why we do things in AIESEC. I'm an empathetic person who is always looking for solutions, I have creativity, consistency and assertiveness. With this I can have a great role because I can use these skills for working effectively with different LCs, to coach the LCPs and VPs to have a better experience in their roles, I can create strategies that help make a more relevant network in the region that I am assigned and especially I can generate a lot of teamwork between the LCs and the MC for my integrative personality. I had the opportunity to coach AIESEC in Popayan and Tulua as well be the “LC PADRINO” of AIESEC in Armenia in 2012. For this I have proximity to the two zones and know the reality.

I study Social Sciences where I see contents in politic, sociology, history that help me better

understand other cultures and contexts but above my knowledge in education gives it the

ability to teach with ease, giving coach and get involved with people.

GENERAL QUESTIONNAIRE

1. 500 IGIP RE/ 1 year

Product specialization by zone in the country:

-Synergy between MCVP IGIP and Regional Director to define professional market analysis,

product , strategies of education and sales culture on LCs and cities.

-The products will be specialized by zone but some cities will be the focus.

Massive projects:

Work in zones generating massive low cost projects involving different cities to work with regional

associations.

Goals and products by zone

Central Zone

-Universidad Global -Soluciones IT

Reasons: -Number of universities in the triangle of coffee and Medellin. -Medellin and Manizales as cities focused IT

East Zone -Universidad Global - Go Global

Reasons: -Number of universities and Educative Corporations in Bogotá. - Number of companies and industrial sector in the zone.

sell the

products in

the zones.

North Zone

-Explore Colombia Reasons: Zone growing tourism in Colombia. Represents the zone with the highest hotel occupancy in the country.

products.

For two MC periods the number of TNs was less than 200. AIESEC Colombia needs to know more

the market and take advice from external agents to learn how to capitalize on the market.

AIESEC in Colombia WINNING TOGETHER culture. 2.

5 BIG milestones to achieve our 2015 goals.

3. What is missing… -Better understand why the LCs are not complying the goals.

Bad planning?? Not knowing your market? -The LCs should understand that you need to achieve local goals and how this affects the possibility of improving the conditions of our country. Not only delivering for AIESEC, it is to fulfill to Colombia. -Many LCs have developed processes. Why not use them and stop building what already exists? You need to

understand the importance of the communication and do things together, makes the process easiest.

WINNING TOGETHER

How do you think we can encourage this culture and have real results from it? - Work with Regional Directors to make challenges in the regions where it is necessary to exchange information and members between LCs .

- Consider rewards & Recognition by region. Rewarding region considering support among LCs, delivered strategies, number of delivered experiences, programs envoy and effectiveness of these, etc.

Leadership Development: Focus on delivering an excellent

leadership development program at the local level to ensure commited and productive members.

Administrative Strengthening :Receive external advice for

each program (alumni, national and local partners,

private companies, government) to better understand the

markets and exploit them.

Strategic Marketing: Delivery of products based on

customer need, not what I believe that we can sell.

External Connection: Generate projects with local

governments in each city. Making showcase of National

Level projects in AIESEC Colombia.

Making massive projects with focus cities for the GIP

program. This program have the biggest GAP (432) and it

needs to be a focus in the next two years.
