Birmingham Scholarship to assist you with.

BURSARY FUND (YEAR 1 ONLY)

Whether you are living independently or living with parents, the cost of living is equally important. So, if you are looking for help and support with day‐to‐day living costs, including rent, university trips or leisure activities, access to the bursary fund may be right for you.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND (YEAR 1 ONLY)

We understand the prospect of going to university and leaving with large debts may make you think twice about studying at higher education level. That is why we have created a scholarship fund that could help pay a contribution towards your tuition fees.

INTERNSHIP (YEAR 1 ONLY)

Are you looking to combine study and get some hands on experience? Internship opportunities are available for people wanting to get valuable experience during the summer. Get up to 16 weeks paid experience in between studies and ‘Earn while U Learn’!

50/50

Students can have the option between a bursary fund, partial tuition fee waiver or a combination of both, depending on which best suits and meets your circumstances and individual needs during your studies.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT FUND

For students who have been supported through the scholarship programme in year one, passed their first year of study and are aspiring to continuing studies at higher education. This fund can be used either to support your living costs or contribute towards tuition fees.

INFORMATION, ADVICE & GUIDANCE (IAG)

Access to enhanced quality information, advice and guidance about learning, development and the wide ranging career pathway opportunities available within the construction and built environment sectors.

WORK / SUMMER PLACEMENTS

Are you thinking about exploring the construction or built environment sector as a career pathway? Not too sure which profession to choose? Try a taster placement with our partner organisations to get an introduction to the world of construction and built environment sector and see what is best suited for you!

MENTORING Being mentored is one of the most valuable and effective

developmet opportunities. Having the guidance,

encouragement and support of a trusted and experienced

mentor can provide you with a broad range of personal

and professional benefits, which ultimately leads

to improved performance in the workplace and

career successΦ

PERSONAL ALLOWANCE FUND (YEAR 1 ONLY)

A one‐off single payment to help kick start your learning and development journey at higher education with help towards purchasing of either a travel pass, books, materials, laptop/PC/tablet or extra help towards costs to cover essential childcare.
