    3.2 Services description

    Scope of the service

    3.2.1Contractor is committed to perform preventive and corrective maintenance visits to all Fiber Cable

    Routes and SDH Sites , as listed in Appendix 6.2

    3.2.2

    Contractor is committed to accept all new SDH Sites or new Fiber Cable Routes assigned to him. For

    avoidance of doubt, Contractor is committed to perform all Services, as specified in Appendix 2, to all

    new SDH Sites or new Fiber Cable Routes assigned to Contractor.

    3.2.3

    Contractor shall perform Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance to the SDH Sites or

    new Fiber Cable Routes in accordance with the activity matrix, as specified in Appendix 2. Preventive

    Maintenance shall be performed on a regular basis according to the following frequencies: XXXX

    3.2.4 Corrective Maintenance shall be performed upon the request of the Purchaser.

    3.2.5

    When Contractor is located in the SDH Site or working on any part of the Fiber Cable Route of the

    Supplier, he shall interact with Purchaser's Field Services, if and when required, following remote

    assistance instructions to solve failures.

    Reporting and maintenance follow up

    3.2.9Contractor shall, if requested by Purchaser, participate in weekly follow up meetings with Purchaser.

    3.2.10

    Contractor shall each month deliver a time schedule of the Preventive Maintenance for the upcoming

    month, as specified in Appendix 4. The time schedule of the upcoming month shall be sent by

    Contractor no later than the last working day of the month.

    3.2.11

    Contractor shall perform Preventive Maintenance to the SDH Sites and Fiber Cable Routes and

    deliver a Maintenance Report for each visi t per SDH Site and each Hop of Fiber. The Maintenance

    Reports shall be based on the template specified in Appendix 3.

    3.2.12

    In order to spread out the monthly Maintenance Reports over time, Contractor is committed to send at

    least 25% of all appl icable monthly Maintenance Reports every week. 100% of all monthlyMaintenance Reports shall be sent by Contractor no later than the last working day of the month.

    3.2.13

    For each report, Contractor shall take a list of digital pictures as specified in Appendix 3. When

    requested by the Supplier, Contractor shall include in the picture the newspaper of the day as a proof

    of the date it has been taken.

    3.2.14

    For each visit on a SDH Site, Contractor shall keep and update the logbook on the SDH Site, where

    every Contractors personnel working or visiting the SDH Site shall be properly registered.

    3.2.15

    When Maintenance Reports are delivered, the assigned supervisor shall review and approve the

    reports. If the reports are not accepted, Contractor shall without undue delay, correct them.

    3.2.16

    When performing Corrective Maintenance or repairs, Contractor shall deliver a report of the task,

    including pictures before and after the repairs, based on the template specified in Appendix 3. If

    Purchaser does not approve the repairs, Contractor shall without undue delay, redo the repairswithout extra charge. Contractor is not allowed to charge repairs that have not been approved by

    Purchaser.

    3.2.17

    Every month Purchaser reserves the right to perform random audits on 3 SDH Sites and 3 Hops of

    Fiber Cable maintained during the month before, based on the Maintenance Reports. If the audit

    shows that at least 2 SDH Sites out of 3 or 2 Fiber Cable Hops out of 3 are not coherent with the

    report, Contractor shall, without undue delay, redo the maintenance visits of all SDH Sites and Fiber

    Cable Routes of the past month without extra charge.

    Equipment and spares

    3.2.25Contractor shall provide his own equipment for measurement and maintenance to his teams including

    at least those listed in Appendix 7.

    3.2.26Contractor shall bear the cost for all low cost spares, like duct tape, bulbs, garbage bags, light

    switches, electrical plugs, labels and non specialized fuses.

    3.2.27All corrective infrastructure maintenance, in which special ized materials are needed, will be paid

    according to the pricelist in Appendix 8.

    3.2.28

    If the materials used are not contained in the pricelist, Contractor shall provide a quotation to

    Purchaser before providing the materials. If Purchaser does not agree on the quotation, Purchaser

    can provide the materials.

    3.2.29

    Contractor shall request Purchaser's written agreement before performing any repair that requires

    more than 200 USD of spare materials, even if they are included in the pricelist specified in Appendix8.

    3.3 Lead times

    3.3.1

    Contractor is committed to have regional maintenance centers in order to comply with the Lead

    Times. The locations of these regional maintenance centers shall be approved by Purchaser in

    writing.

    3.3.2

    In case of a failure reported by the Purchaser to the Contractor, Contractor shall reach the SDH Site

    or Fiber Cable Hop affected and repair the failure according to the lead times defined in the contract.

    3.3.3SDH Site and Fiber Cable Hops Priorities and associated lead times are fully detailed in Appendix 5.

    1.1 Fiber Cable Route

    1.1.1 Monthly visual inspection of cable layout of the whole network (12 times per year)

    1.1.2 Cut and clear bushes, trees, branches less than 1 meter away from fiber cable and pole

    1.1.3 Fix the installation of fiber cable too loose and less than 4 meter from the ground

    1.1.4 Replace any broken support or hanger on the poles (compare with specifications)

    1.1.5 Realign any concrete pole not vertically standing (coordinate with owner if necessary)

    1.1.6 Replace a missing label on a road crossing (that informs about the cable height)

    1.1.7 Replace fiber cable closure if there is any crack with risk to water infiltration

    1.1.8 Inspect and fix the bend of the fiber cable on curve points (compare with specifications)
