Finances

• One of the responsibilities of the EC is to set the fees for membership and APNIC Services– APNIC fee reduction for all account holders from 1

January 2015– The revised fee schedule aims to provide the greatest

benefit to the majority of Members, with smaller and new Members receiving relatively more discounts

• New set of APNIC’s activity codes for budgeting and expense reporting

APNIC Survey 2014

• Positive rating for APNIC service delivery and value

• APNIC values feedback from Members and the community

• Results of the 2014 survey guide APNIC’s planning for 2015-2018

• EC response to APNIC Survey 2014 published

Community engagement

• First meeting of the Cooperation SIG held on 3 March 2015

• Provides Members with a forum to discuss matters relating to Internet public policy and governance

• Draft Charter was agreed

APNIC accountability and transparency

• Creation of the RIR Accountability Matrix by the NRO, which compares transparency and accountability mechanisms across the five RIRs

• APNIC Transparency page updated– http://www.apnic.net/about-APNIC/transparency – The new Activity Plan and Budget is available– New activity codes created to track all expenditure– The Five-Year Strategy document published

• Declaration and Register of interests of EC members

• Strengthened internal financial audit process

• Rotation of external financial auditors every five years

• Price Waterhouse Coopers appointed as new auditor

EC appointment to the NRO NC

• The EC appoints one member to the Number Council for a one-year term

• The EC reappointed Aftab Siddiqui to the NC for 2015
