July’s Mission Focus at the Coffee Corner will be the Jennings (Brian and Charity). Funds raised will go to them as they try to raise funds to purchase a vehicle for their use in their restricted access country.

Legacy Builder's Camp

Coming Up: August 11-14 at Nanoose Bay Camp for those

who are 50+. Registration Forms will be available at the Info Booth or online at apaonline.ca/events.

Block Party

Neighbourhood Block Party: To get to know our neighbours

better and to be a meeting place for the neighbourhood. The first Block Party is July 26, where we will be hosting a family carnival with fun for the whole family. We’ll need volunteers in many areas including Game Host, Ticket Booth, Concession, etc. There is space for everyone! August 23 and September 20 we’ll have more Block Party fun, so mark these dates off on your calendar!

Coffee Service: Please note that beginning June 22, there

will be no coffee service in the foyer for the rest of the summer. Instead, we invite you to enjoy your regular cup of coffee from the Coffee Corner, for only $1. The full proceeds will be going to support Missions. Check out who we are supporting with missions this summer over at the Coffee Corner.

Guest Services Booth: The Guest Services Booth has

relocated to the North end of the Foyer. Come by and say good morning! You will find any of the information you need there as well as the debit machine. To support the amazing growth of our Children’s Ministry, they have moved to the centre of the Foyer into the previous Guest Services Booth. We look forward to serving you!

Strategic Perspectives Series

This summer we are happy to have Bill Hale facilitate a DVD series in the Fire-side Room after the morning services. This series is called “Strategic Perspec-tives,” recorded at a conference last Oc-tober hosted by Dr. Chuck Missler, along with some of the best biblical scholars who have the latest information about the Middle East.Dr. Missler says that perspective is our most valuable asset. Details are easily ac-quired when you know which questions are relevant. Once we’ve asked the right questions and understand the trends, we can make intelligent decisions.Topics during July:• 6th & 13th: Middle East Updates—

The Nitty Gritty• (panel, wide variety of sources of

information not in the usual media)• 20th & 27th: The Impact of Islam• (Joel Richardson, solid scriptural

interpretation that challenges the traditional end-time preaching plus personal testimonies)

The topics addressed in this series will impact your country, your career (or pension fund), and your family in the coming months and years. You don’t eat until noon anyway . . . join us this morn-ing following the service.
