These days we have taken on the task of teaching from the book of Proverbs. This wonderful book is filled with in-sightful tidbits of wisdom. The name of the series is called “Epigram: TheWisdomofTheProverbs.”‘Epigram’ is by definition ‘any witty,ingenious, or pointed saying terselyexpressed.’ThebookofProverbsdoesjust this very thing. It is full of wise sayingsexpressedinshortlittlespurts.It is hard to read these verses without immediate personal application. Sim-ple challenges to seek wisdom and run away from stupid behaviour are strewn throughout. We look forward towhatGodhas tosay to us through His word in this book. AsweworkthroughourseriesonthebookofProverbs,wewanttochallengeyou to take a few minutes each day for personal reflection. For the next fewmonths,whydon’tyoureadonechap-ter of the Proverbs every day?
