Camp Meeting Month Continues Each August, we observe Camp Meeting Month at the two traditional worship service. That means cooler, comfortable clothes (Men, you can take off that coat and tie!), less formal order of worship, and singing some of the old hymns of the faith. If you have a favorite hymn you would like for us to sing during August, please contact our organist, Pierce Dickens or you can call the church office (912-764-7589) and leave a message.

Habitat for HumanityOur church strongly supports Habitat for Humanity’s conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. To this end, we are one of several area churches that are contributing to the newest home-build; a faith-build. The foundation has been laid and is ready for builders! Workers are welcome every Saturday morning from 8AM-12PM. The minimum age to work is 18. Tools and experience are not required, just a willingness to work and learn! Grab a friend or two and head to 103 College Lane this Saturday (or any upcoming Saturday!). Any questions? Contact Debbie Walker, Missions Chair, 912-682-9703.

Hymn of Praise – At Calvary Text printed under CCLI1032344

Years I spent in vanity and pride,Caring not my Lord was crucified,Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary.(Chorus) Mercy there was great, and grace was free:Pardon there was multiplied to me:There my burdened soul found liberty, at Calvary.

By God’s Word at last my sin I learned,Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned,‘til my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary. (Chorus)

Now I’ve giv’n to Jesus everything,Now I gladly own Him as my King:Now my raptured soul can only sing of Calvary. (Chorus)

O, the love that drew salvation’s plan!O, the grace that brought it down to man!O, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary! (Chorus)

Hymn of Commitment – There is Power in the BloodWould you be free from the burden of sin? There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;Would you o’er evil a victory win? There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

(Chorus)There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r in the blood of the Lamb;There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r in the precious blood of the Lamb.

Would you be free from your passion and pride? There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide? There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood. (Chorus)

Would you be whiter, much whiter than show? There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;Sin stains are lost in its life-giving flow; There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood. (Chorus)

Would you do service for Jesus your King? There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;Would you live daily His praises to sing? There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood. (Chorus)
