Originates from the word muse, which means ‘to think.’

God created music. The angel choir sang the night Jesus

was born.Solomon was used of God to write

1005 songs (1 Kings 4:32)The book of Solomon is called the

“Song of Solomon.” Singing is mentioned 110 times in

scripture. Musician is mentioned 56 times in

scripture. Charles Spurgeon’s parents gave him

a penny for each hymn he memorized.

Music is meant for worship.

King Saul employed David to play the harp for him to help stop his depression.

Not all music is acceptable to God. He is concerned with every thought you think and every word you hear.

“Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.”

A Christian is to sing a “new song.”

The “new song” is mentioned nine times in the Bible.

Once saved, one has something to sing about.

What is the new song? It is praise unto our God.

A Christian’s music is to praise God!

“I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. Aleister Crowley

Aleister’s father, Edward, was a Brethren preacher. Edward died when Aleister was eleven and thus inherited a fortune. From this inheritance, Aleisterfinanced his satanic career. He began torturing and killing animals at age twelve. Crowley was a heroin addict and a sexual pervert. His Christian mother referred to him as “The Great Beast of Revelation whose number is 666,” and he was pleased with the title.

He indulged in everything he believed God would hate: performing sex magic, taking heroin, opium, hashish, peyote and cocaine, invoking spirits, and even once offering himself to the Russian authorities to help destroy Christianity.

He came up with putting backwards messages into musical recordings.

What is emo

Hannah Bond, a 13 year-old girl from Kent, committed suicide by hanging herself - and emo music has been blamed. Bond had discussed with friends the "glamour" of suicide, and was obsessed with American band My Chemical Romance. She had a picture of an emo girl with bloody wrists on her Bebo page.

Bond's father Ray explained that his daughter had had an episode of self-harm prior to her suicide, which she told him was an emoinitiation ceremony.

Her mother Heather Bond, also provided some background on her interest in the genre explaining: "There are [emo] websites that show pink teddies hanging themselves. She called emo a fashion and I thought it was normal. Hannah was a normal girl. She had loads of friends. She could be a bit moody but I thought it was just because she was a teenager."

• Sing to God when you are alone.

• Listen to edifying Christian music.

• Pick a gospel song for the day to sing, hum, and whistle.

• Read a hymn a day (it will make you appreciate the words more.)

• Sing your heart out in church services.

• If you have talent, use it for the honor of the Lord.

• It will give you strength (Exodus 15:2)

• It will aid in prayer. (Psalms 100:2)

• It will increase your courage. (Psalms 42:8)

• It will prevent depression as you are reminded of God’s presence. “In my presence is fullness of joy,”
