Los autores del “World Urbanization Prospects. The 2014 (Revision)”, de la ONU, resaltan que “el crecimiento de población que registrarán numerosas ciudades supondrá numerosos desafíos para ellas, en cuanto a atender las necesidades de sus habitantes tanto en vivienda, como en INFRAESTRUCTURA, transporte y la provisión de servicios básicos.”

SMARTscan SMARTscan is Carnell's cost-effective risk-based tool which assesses filter drain performance. The established service uses custom-built vehicles to undertake high-speed non-intrusive GPR surveys of the sub-surface filter drain in the verge and central reserve.

The A5 monitoring project has a set aside run length of 120 linear metres

The field site is located on the A5 westbound, close to the roundabout for the A449, around 1 kilometre from the outskirts of Shrewsbury. The preparatory phase will be the installation of 7 stillage boxes of approximately 1 m3 in volume that will be filled with as found material and feature an adjoining chamber for placing of the monitoring equipment.
