We’re glad you’re here! We’d like to get to know you. There is a Connection Card in the seat in front of you to get you started. Please use the card to communicate your interests, praise and prayer requests, or contact information (especially if you’re new here) with our staff. Drop it in the offering basket, hand it to an usher, or bring it by the Connection Corner. Feel free to call our office staff for any reason (440.543.5643). The Connection Corner is in the Atrium (on the right as you leave); an Elder and his wife are available there to meet you, pray with you, and/or answer your questions.
Devices to help the hearing impaired are available at the sound booth in the back of the
Worship Center.
Dear Church Family: During my Wednesday morning Community Group, we were going through the Book of Acts chapter nine and the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. Here was one of the most vehemently anti-Christian crusaders to ever walk the earth. He was arresting Christians and even overseeing some stonings. So what does God do? He decides to recruit Saul for His team!! And Saul soon became Paul, and went from one of the most brutal persecutors of the church to its greatest missionary. It is so easy to see people who are completely antithetical to the faith and see them as enemies. It is so easy to hold people who scorn God in contempt. But, from God’s view, these are the first-round draft picks for His team!! So, here is my challenge: think of someone in your life who would be easy to view as a “lost cause” or the last person who would ever receive Jesus as Savior and Lord and begin praying for them, for open doors to discuss the faith with them. Try to imagine them as someone completely the opposite. You may just begin praying for the next Billy Graham or Mother Teresa or Apostle Paul!!

church family meet to pray for those in the church and for the prayer requests on
the connection cards gathered during the offering. If you would like to take part
in this ministry, come to the office and follow the signs to the Prayer Room.
Participate at your convenience—weekly, monthly, whenever you have the time—

Study Questions for April 1
1. Read John 10:11-42 five times this week.
2. What is the essence of salvation according to what Jesus
says in 10:27-30? What can never happen to the true
believer? Who is in charge of this “eternal security”
according to this passage? How do the Pharisees react
(again)?
3. Why have the Pharisees determined to stone Jesus in vv. 31-
33? What kind of defense does Jesus offer in vv. 34-38?
4. How does this passage affirm the divinity of Christ? Why is
this so critically important?
5. When our world tends to downplay doctrine in favor of
works, how does this passage bring balance to the topic?
How important are these two subjects according to this
passage? Can you think of other passages that enforce
both doctrine and conduct?
