ICEGATE stands for the Indian CustomsElectronic Commerce/Electronic Datainterchange (EC/EDI) Gateway. ICEGATEis a portal that provides e-filing services tothe trade and cargo carriers and other clientsof Customs Department (collectively calledTrading Partner).

ICEGATE is an infrastructure project thatfulfils the department’s EC/EDI and datacommunication requirements.

Integrated Disease Surveillance Project(IDSP) was launched in November 2004 fora period upto March 2010. The project wasrestructured and extended up to March2012.

The project continues in the 12th Plan asIntegrated Disease Surveillance Programmeunder National Health Mission for all States.

It aims to set up a Central DiseaseSurveillance Unit and a State SurveillanceUnit in each State where data is collectedand analyzed.

It was undertaken to meet the World HealthOrganization Guidelines for South EastAsian countries on disease surveillance totrack the outbreak of diseases and itspotential transboundary threats.

programme. State governments will have theflexibility to use these grants for any slumrehabilitation project as deemed fit.Ownership of houses will be in the name ofthe woman or jointly with her husband.
