When the voter presses the button againstthe name of the candidate of his choice onthe Ballot Unit, the VVPAT unit generatesa paper slip, called Ballot Slip.

This paper slip contains the name, serialnumber and symbol of the chosencandidate.

In this process, the slip will not go into thehands of the voter nor will others be able tosee it.

Such a system will act as an additionallayer of transparency for the satisfaction ofvoters, allaying any apprehension in the

minds of the voters as to the fidelity andintegrity of the EVMs.

It is India’s longest highway tunnel locatedin Jammu & Kashmir on NH-44.

There is also a fully-integrated controlsystem with ventilation, communication,power supply, incident detection, SOS callbox and firefighting.
