ISSUES RESOLVED IN DATAMINE FUSION9

The following cases have been resolved in this version:

ID Type Description of Change

GDMS-3631 Imp. An enhancement has been made that will allow users to display up to 20 custom exports within the applications.

GDMS-3902 Imp. A new user preference has been added to GDMS to automatically adjust the column width to fit the column label and column data for grid style windows.

GDMS-3908 Imp. An enhancement has been made that will allow users to specify a new hole_number for the generated drill hole that will be used instead of the value in the dhl_planned_drillholes table. This allows users to control the hole_number that is entered into the Drill_Hole table, while maintaining a connection to the original planned drillhole record. Whether or not the user specifies a new hole_number or uses the original value, the original hole_number from the planned drillholes table will be stored in a new column "sys_pdh_hole_number" in the DRILL_HOLE table.

GDMS-4620 Imp. A modification was made to the Lab Import module in DHLogger that will combine into one message the multiple 'missing column' messages that are received when more columns are defined in the Lab Package than are in the Import File.

GDMS-4671 Imp. The sample tag generator has been enhanced to show all samples/QC for a given dispatch. Users can view all available dispatches and samples/QC associated with the dispatch to select a couple or all samples to generate sample tags. Surface Sample and Drill Hole templates can be chosen and all tags can be generated and printed at the same time.

GDMS-4674 Imp. An enhancement has been added to the Lab Import to provide more detailed information in the body of the email that is sent following the import. This has been implemented as a preference, which is initially enabled, but can be turned off in the System Preferences window or the Business Unit Preferences window.

GDMS-4678 Imp. A modification to the Change Status Options window in Fusion Administrator will allow administrators to configure mappings that will allow users with Qualified Person profile to change the status of an "Authorized" batch (or samples belonging to an authorized batch).

GDMS-4682 Imp. An enhancement has been made in DHLogger that will allow you to select samples and add them to a dispatch directly from the Samples and/or Composite Samples tabs.

GDMS-4684 Imp. An enhancement has been made in DHLogger, with configuration in Fusion Administrator, that will allow geologists to copy the interval depths from the Samples tab into multiple drill hole tables (interval and drillhole-related).

GDMS-4763 Imp. An enhancement has been added to report via pop-up message when a QC Sample (eg. DUP, Standard) has been automatically created in the database. The display of this message is controlled with a System Preference, which you can also override with Business Unit Preferences.

GDMS-4812 Imp. A modification has been made to no longer disable the Export menu in DHLogger and Sample Station when connected to the Fusion Remote or Central databases.

GDMS-4815 Imp. An enhancement has been made in DHLogger and Sample Station to allow users with Qualified Person profile to edit the Standard Type of a field standard. Changing the Standard Type will flag records in the DHL_SAMPLE_COLUMN_DETAILS table as ‘not active’, and these will not be visible in chart data.

GDMS-4964 Imp. The Lab Import window in DHLogger has had user interface improvements to appear more consistent with the rest of the application, and to resolve an issue with viewing the Import Templates.

11

ID Type Description of Change

GDMS-5028 Imp. An enhancement was made to update the last_modified_by in the Drill_Hole table when a Lab Import is performed into the Hole_Assay_Sample table.

GDMS-5085 Imp. Updated the UI of the Graphic Log in DHLogger.

GDMS-5189 Imp. An enhancement has been added to Fusion9 that will allow you to externally configure an XML file that will be read by the Advanced Filter object to customize the list of fields that are available. An unconfigured XML file is included in the install, and deployed to the writable folder: C:\ProgramData\Datamine\GDMS\Apps\Fusion

GDMS-711 Imp. A modification was made to the Planned Drillhole module in DHLogger to capture and provide a more suitable message when you attempt to save rows that contain an invalid date in a field.

GDMS-4681 Imp. Standalone custom tables can now be created against the Fusion Central database allowing the logging of data that is not related to a sample or hole. Data can be imported or logged directly into the Fusion Central database.

GDMS-4769 Imp. New QC validation has been added to allow the failure of samples that fall within the standard deviation range of the failed standard during lab import. Additionally, samples can be further limited to only include sample with the same run as the failed standard.

GDMS-4985 Imp. Additional information has been added to the prompt to confirm the deletion of a custom column or sample column informing the user that synchronization errors could occur if data exists in the column in the destination databases (Local or FusionRemote).

GDMS-3899 Imp. Enhancements have been made in DHLogger, Sample Station and Fusion Client that support custom SYSTEM Data Sources for SQL Server databases that are prefixed with "FusionRemote".

GDMS-4656 Imp. A modification was made in Fusion Client to the Administrator Access windows in each of the modules (Borehole, Samples, Maps) to add the 'Filter' menu item, as well as adding the advanced selection criteria tool.

GDMS-4923 Imp. A modification was made to the Drill Hole Maintenance window in Fusion Client to provide a more detailed message box / prompt when a user is deleting drill holes.

GDMS-5355 Imp. An enhancement was made to add “PDF” as a supported file format when saving the Graphic Log. You will be prompted to install a Fusion-compatible PostScript printer if necessary.

GDMS-4638 Change A modification was made to the manual Refresh Lists window in Fusion Client, to exclude the "display order" column from being refreshed from the Central database to the Local database for Assay, Composite and Sample Station columns.

GDMS-4645 Change A modification was made in DHLogger and Sample Station to allow access to the Calculate Common Coordinates window when logged in to the Central or Fusion Remote database by users who have the "Connect to Central" permission, but not ADMINISTRATOR profile. Access to this window will allow for the re-calculation of coordinates with the common grids that are currently set.

GDMS-4981 Change A modification has been made to the Lab Import in DHLogger to display the invalid samples (and what makes them invalid) in the Import Log that is visible on the window. Prior to this change, only the samples that were 'not found' would be displayed.

GDMS-5119 Change A modification was made to remove default entries (Local, Central) from the Environment picklist on the Login window of DHLogger, Sample Station and Fusion Administrator. The list will now only contain datasources that actually exist.

GDMS-5222 Change A change was made to the samples selection window when assigning samples is a Sample Dispatch. To maintain consistency with the object selection in the Check In / Out windows in Fusion Client, the multi-row selection behavior was modified to ensure that the group would remain selected when you click an already selected row to begin the drag-and-drop action.

12

ID Type Description of Change

GDMS-3532 Change A modification was made to the User Maintenance window in Fusion Administrator, making the First Name a required column. The database structure is not changing to require data in this field, however the application will enforce the requirement.

GDMS-3572 Change A message has been modified to clarify that when a Check In or Copy In of a drill hole fails, the hole might not always be flagged as INCOMPLETE. The updated messaging indicates that the status could be unchanged.

GDMS-3686 Change A change has been made to restrict the access to the XYZ Calculator in Fusion Client to only users with Administrator profile when logged in to the Fusion Remote - Central environment. This is to maintain the consistency of non-administrators only being allowed to perform the calculations against the Local database when logged in to either Local - Central or Local - Fusion Remote environments.

GDMS-4950 Change A change has been made in Fusion Client to the synchronization process between a Fusion Remote and Central database to allow non-administrator users to perform the action. Previously, a geologist would be denied the ability, indicating that the action was required to be executed by an Administrator. Now there will be no notifications, and the geologist will be temporarily granted privileges to perform the synchronization.

GDMS-5041 Change Modifications were made to the Drillhole and Sample Authorization windows in Fusion Client to separate the Process Flow Authorization and move it to another window. A new menu item exists "Process Flow Authorization" in Fusion Client in the Borehole and Sample modules.

GDMS-4631 Fix A scenario was encountered with the Worksheet in DHLogger whereby an ID value was being re-used, causing an error message to report a Unique Key violation. The cause of the behavior has been identified and rectified, resolving this issue.

GDMS-4634 Fix An error was encountered when a new element, unit of measure or analytical method was added and then an existing Laboratory Analytical Detail record was modified to use one of the new reference codes. During the synchronization of the modified Laboratory Analytical Detail record you received an error because the new reference codes had yet to be synchronized. A change was made to prevent the update from occurring before the lists refreshed, resolving this situation.

GDMS-4929 Fix An issue was found where the standard chart would sometimes disappear on the Batch Authorization window when selecting standards. Modified DHLogger to ensure the standard chart is always displayed correctly

GDMS-4934 Fix The background colour of the Duplicates tab didn't match the other tabs on the Batch Authorization window. Updated the Duplicates tab background colour to match other tabs.

GDMS-4937 Fix An issue was found where the duplicate control chart and results datawindow was blank on the Batch Authorization window when the duplicate and parent sample were imported across multiple lab reference numbers. Updated DHLogger to always display the control chart and results datawindow

GDMS-4990 Fix A scenario was encountered in the Batch Authorization module whereby an error message would be received when trying to Change Status for a set of samples that had null 'sample_status' values. The cause of the behavior has been identified and resolved.

GDMS-4998 Fix An issue was found with the Samples tab in DHLogger where a new sample was not saved when you change the Sample Type to "(Show All)" immediately after adding the sample (without manually saving). This has been resolved.

GDMS-5062 Fix A change was made to not translate the WEIGHTED keyword in the Worksheet, to ensure that the average calculation is performed correctly.

GDMS-5125 Fix A modification was made to the Graphic Log to ensure that the scale of the report is correctly calculated when the units have been translated as a result of multi-lingual support.

13

ID Type Description of Change

GDMS-5169 Fix A scenario was encountered with the calculation of coordinates following an import (update) of coordinate information in the Fusion Remote or Central database, whereby the calculated values are set to NULL. The issue occurs when not all of the coordinate information is being imported (northing, easting and elevation). The import has been modified to query the Coordinate table rather than the import table for coordinate information to be used in the calculations, resolving this issue.

GDMS-5173 Fix An issue was identified with the advanced filtering object whereby a second edit box is not properly hidden when the filter’s Selection Criteria (column) is changed. The issue occurred when resetting to “is equal to” when the previous column’s criteria was “is between”. The cause has been corrected, resolving this issue.

GDMS-5308 Fix A scenario was encountered in DHLogger when attempting to add a new interval to a Checked Out drill hole that already has intervals. The interval is incorrectly added to the first position causing gap validation to occur when you attempt to add a second interval. The sorting issue has been addressed, resolving this issue.

GDMS-5318 Fix An issue was encountered in the Batch Authorization window whereby Standard Charts were not displaying the Minimum and Maximum Value lines for standards that are configured to use Min-Max validation. This has been resolved.

GDMS-710 Fix Validation was added to the Planned Drillholes module in DHLogger to ensure that date fields have a year entered that is greater than 1900.

GDMS-713 Fix Validation was added in the Planned Drillhole module in DHLogger, to ensure that only positive values are entered for Planned Depth, Hole Depth, Sample Interval Length and First Sample Depth.

GDMS-3946 Fix An issue was found where a validation message was displayed twice when custom columns contained invalid formulas. Suppressed second validation message

GDMS-4956 Fix An issue was found where locking could occur when a new dispatch was created and sample added, but the sample was not dispatched. This would cause locking on the sample dispatch header table preventing other users from opening the dispatch window against the same database. The dispatch window as has been updated to commit changes and release the lock on the sample dispatch header table allowing access by all users.

GDMS-4997 Fix An incorrect validation message was encountered in the View Manager in Fusion Administrator when no 'SUM' columns were selected, and no 'screen sizes' were selected. The cause of the behavior has been corrected and the validation message will not appear in this scenario.

GDMS-5001 Fix A modification has been made to the Business Unit Preferences window in Fusion Administrator. The change will ensure that when you click the "Restore Global Preferences" button all system preferences for the business unit will be deleted, so that with none present when a Global Preference is changed, the business unit will be using that value as well.

GDMS-5022 Fix An issue was found where the table name for custom reference tables was incorrectly cutting off before reaching the 30 character limit. The table name field has been expanded to allow all 30 characters.

GDMS-5024 Fix An issue was found where users were incorrectly able to delete elements, units of measure, or analytical methods when they were in use by standard definitions or composite sample columns. Fusion Administrator has been updated to verify that the element, unit of measure, and analytical method is not in use before allowing the delete.

GDMS-5030 Fix A modification was made to the Object Audit Codes reference list in Fusion Administrator to disable the editing of the Action Code and Reason Code fields for certain system codes (Batch Status Change, Sample Status Change and Reanalysis). These are system codes that are required to exist for actions in the Batch Authorization module.

ID Type Description of Change

GDMS-4865 Fix Drillhole and Sample Authorization functionality in Fusion Client has been re-enabled against Local and Fusion Remote databases. As part of this change, Process Flow Authorization has been moved to its own separate window in Fusion Client.

GDMS-4965 Fix An issue was identified where the dhl_destination_composite table was being added to the drill_hole_object_status table when it was not supposed to be logged. As well, the check for whether or not the drillhole is complete (after a selective transfer) was incorrectly including this table. These issues have been resolved.

GDMS-4999 Fix A scenario was encountered with the startup of Fusion Client whereby an error message was received when there were business units that existed in the Central DB that were not found in the Local DB. The cause of the behavior was an error in logic, which has been altered, resolving this issue.

GDMS-5002 Fix An issue was highlighted with the Planned Hole Template renaming that occurs in Fusion Client, whereby planned drillholes were receiving an incorrectly generated hole_number.

GDMS-5060 Fix A case was highlighted in Fusion Administrator and Fusion Client whereby a manual refresh lists was required to distribute a change made to the Reference Lists tab in the Business Unit Preferences window. A change was made to the Close event to ensure that the list_versions table is incremented when a change is made, which will properly trigger an automatic refresh lists to occur.

GDMS-5106 Fix A situation was noticed when a Custom Export is deleted and the last used or default menu in the Export tile is no longer valid. The cause of the behavior has been identified and corrected, resolving this issue.

GDMS-5122 Fix An issue was found where sample tags were not generated correctly from Fusion Client when connected to a Fusion Remote database and a Fusion Central database in Fusion Client. Updated the sample tag generator to correctly generate sample tags across all databases.

GDMS-5229 Fix An issue was encountered with the Custom Report prompt that allows you to choose the visible columns for the Detailed and Summary logs in DHLogger, Sample Station and Fusion Client. The selected columns are no longer saving or being retrieved from the database correctly. The cause of the behavior was identified and corrected, resolving this issue.

GDMS-5302 Fix An issue was highlighted with the Check In of Surface Samples from a Fusion Remote to a Central database whereby the transfer would not occur due to an error flipping negative ids. This issue was occurring when there was also Hole_Interval data that needed to be flipped when its Drill Hole was transferred in. The cause of the behavior was identified and resolved with a new version of DataSync.

GDMS-5304 Fix A prompt was added to the Scheduled Check In windows in Fusion Client to ask you to save your changes before exiting.

GDMS-5312 Fix An issue was highlighted with the transfer of Maps that contain channel samples and/or grab samples whereby the validation of these objects was failing. Modifications to DataSync have resolved the issue.

GDMS-5324 Fix A modification was made in Fusion Client to the execution of COMMON_SQL_STATEMENTS for Report Manager, ensuring that only statements that are supported by the target database’s current version will be executed.

Report Manager 3.4.0.0

ID Type Description of Change

GDMS-4774 Imp. A new "Turnaround Chart" has been added which allows users to plot the minimum, maximum and/or average number of days that a lab take to turnaround results, from the time the lab receives the sample requests to the time of analysis, as taken from the DHL_SAMPLE_COLUMN_DETAILS table.

GDMS-4775 Imp. A new "Failure Index" chart has been added which provides users with a count and percentage of a Standard/Element that has had failures. This can be plotted across a specified time frame (eg. monthly for the past year). An enhancement has been made to the Quantile vs Quantile chart to allow users to specify whether or not they include results for any blind standards or blanks (Lab Standards will continue to be excluded).

GDMS-4880 Imp. The implementation of Widgets for Dashboards has been added. Users can create Queries that can be mapped to a new chart (not a pre-defined QAQC chart) for which users can create series and assign columns to each axis. The combination of these queries and chart definitions is referred to as a Widget. Widgets can be run on their own, or added to a Dashboard.

GDMS-4892 Imp. The implementation of a Reporting Dashboard has been added, including creation, maintenance, distribution, printing and exporting.

GDMS-4995 Imp. Enhancements were made to the filter capabilities in Report Manager to accommodate some requests by some Fusion and LIMS users.

HoleTypeCode, Department and OriginalResult have been added to the list of filter options.

LabReferenceNumber and SampleDispatch filters are properly supported when connected to a LIMS database.

The "OR" operator has been implemented, by way of filter grouping.

GDMS-5105 Change A modification was made to the size of the graphical images that are used to represent the various modules. As two new modules were added to Report Manager in this version the images needed to be adjusted to ensure each module could be accessed when running at the minimum supported resolution.

GDMS-5242 Change A change was made to apply the default regional settings for the country/language to maintain consistency between result values and computed values.

GDMS-5077 Fix A scenario was encountered when using the Z-Score chart with a ‘First Result’ option where the results returned included more than one value for each sample. This has been resolved and now only one point appears per sample.

GDMS-5133 Fix An issue was highlighted with the use of Report Manager against a LIMS database whereby the memory usage was about 3 times as much as that which is used when connected to a Fusion database. The cause of the behavior was identified and corrected, resolving the issue.

GDMS-5243 Fix An issue was identified with the results section of some charts which show multiple standards, whereby the Actual Value for all standards is being populated with the Actual Value of the first standard in the list.

GDMS-5247 Fix A client reported an issue when running a chart with a result filter applied. In their scenario, the chart could not be drawn. The issue has been resolved.

GDMS-5248 Fix An issue was reported whereby the “Count of Standards” was unable to be hidden. The cause of the behavior was identified and corrected, resolving this issue.
