Turtle Krawl 5k Run/Walk:

The Turtle Krawl 5k Run/Walk is the largest 5k race in Brevard County. In September come see

what all the hype is about during the second race of the 2018 SCR Runner of the Year series. All

proceeds benefit the Sea Turtle Preservation Society.

Melbourne Air & Space Show:

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the 2018 Melbourne Air & Space Show

sponsored by Northrop Grumman, March 17-18, 2018 at Melbourne International Airport. The

Melbourne Air and Space Show will celebrate its 5th Anniversary in 2018!

Publix Florida Marathon, Half Marathon & Relay:

Runners will follow a course that takes them over two bridges and along Melbourne’s stretch of

the scenic Indian River at the Publix Florida Marathon Weekend (Melbourne Music Marathon

until 2016), which features a full marathon, half marathon, half marathon relay, 8K and 5K race

distances.

Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic:

The Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic is a USTA Pro Circuit Wild Card

Challenge – a three-tournament women’s series wherein the American who wins the highest

number of WTA points will earn a Main Draw Wild Card entry into the French Open. The

Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic is a not for profit event, with the proceeds

being divided equally between the following foundations: The Parker Foundation for Autism,

Child Development and The Scott Center for Autism Treatment, and Candlelighters of Brevard,

Inc.

Annual Indialantic Craft Festival:

The Annual Indialantic Craft Fair features artists and crafters from the American Craft

Endeavors. Bring the whole family out for a fun time at Nance Park and finish your day at the

beach.

Safari Under the Stars:

Join Brevard Zoo for a spectacular evening of celebration! Known as one of Brevard’s largest

and most prestigious events, Safari Under the Stars is more than just a great party—it raises

critical funds to support the Zoo’s missions of animal wellness, education and conservation.

Annual Melbourne Art Festival:

The Melbourne Art Festival is a nationally recognized event held each year in April in historic

downtown Melbourne, Florida. Activities include the Flamingo 5K, kids' world, entertainment,

art workshops for children, and an art show.

Brevard County Farmers' Market:

Local farmers and food producers bring their vegetables and foods and other items to the

Brevard County Farmers' Market every Thursday from 3 until 6 p.m. This is a dog friendly

event. SNAP benefits doubled for vegetables. Come to the best farmers market in Brevard

County! Hosted by Brevard County Ag extension.

Downtown Melbourne Art Walk:

Every third Saturday from 5-8 p.m. the Strawbridge Art League Gallery and the Brevard

Humane Society hosts the Downtown Melbourne Art Walk. Join 36 businesses as they host local

artists in their shops, gallerias, restaurants and studios. The event will feature more than two

dozen businesses showcasing some medium of art from live art demos, live music and wine-

tastings.

USA Beach Running Championship:

Participate in the Beach Running Association USA Beach Running Championship - 10K & 1/2

Marathon. The Beach Running Association is a consortium of runners who enjoy the freedom of

beach and trail running in addition to typical road running. We have no membership. No dues

and are as free as the beaches and trails. All finishers will receive an octopus medal, tech shirts,

event beach towels to the first 1,000 to check in for pack pick up, and much more!

Melbourne Main Street's Friday Fest:

Gather up the kids and head out to historic downtown Melbourne for their Family Friday Fest

held every second Friday of the month from 6 to 10 p.m. The whole family will love this festive

event that features live music, food, late shopping hours and a kids' zone.

Cocoa Beach Easter Pro/Am:

The Cocoa Beach Easter Pro/Am 2018 Surfing Festival continues the 54-year tradition of

providing a showcase for eventual world championship contenders to exhibit their style and

quality of surfing in front of huge crowds of spectators in Cocoa Beach, widely recognized and

referred to as the “East Coast Capital of Surfing.”

Spring Central Florida Car Show:

The Spring presentation of the Central Florida Car Show is expected to host over 130 collectible

and special interest autos proudly displayed by their owners on the streets of Cocoa Village at

this participant-judged event. Car show features will include awards in 13 classes plus Mayor's

Choice and Best in Show, music, and street vendors, the Beer Garden hosted by Dog & Bone

British Pub, plus all the great shopping and dining that Cocoa Village has to offer! As always,

leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Admission is free to the public! $15 pre-

Coastal Angler Magazine (CAM) Boating / Fishing Expo:

Boaters Exchange has once again teamed with Coastal Angler Magazine to create an exciting

event. Last year was so amazing!! The 9th annual CAM Expo promises to be bigger and better

with an all-star speaker, more vendors, great food, tons of free raffles throughout the day, a kid

zone, boat show & even more fun!

Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Half Marathon:

Run by the sea and through the most storied beach history on the Space Coast as you head up

coastal A1A in Cocoa Beach and the city of Cape Canaveral into Port Canaveral where you will

pass near fishing boats, giant cruise ships, marinas, and the ocean channel. From the Port

Canaveral area, the course heads south along the hard-packed beaches and tree-lined residential

areas before a finish near the sands of Cocoa Beach!

Sebastian Inlet Regular Joe Surf Festival:

See some of the best local surfers completing in this benefit surf contest! The Regular Joe Surf

Festival benefits the Sebastian inlet Charter of Surfrider Foundation. Labeled as a "contest for

the rest of us"

The Space Coast Art Festival hosts an elegant fine art exhibition at a charming outdoor location

during Thanksgiving weekend. Our unique event inspires the Central Florida community,

sponsors, artists and upcoming talents to cultivate and promote the fine arts at the Space Coast.

Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon:

Running Zone Foundation and Space Coast Runners welcome you to the running of the Space

Coast Marathon and Half-Marathon – Florida’s oldest marathon. Runners and walkers alike are

invited to experience one of the most beautiful USATF certified waterfront courses on the east

coast of Florida. Both races start in the historic and quaint Cocoa Village, and finish with a lap

around the Riverfront Park amphitheater where family and friends can cheer and watch your

finish. As this race is held within the shadow of the Kennedy Space Center, the entire event

revolves around a space theme sure to delight and energize participants.

Daytona 500:

The Daytona 500 is a 500 mile long Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series motor race held

annually at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. We are the perfect “pit-

stop” on your way to the race! It is the first of two Cup races held every year at Daytona, the

second being the Coke Zero 400. It is one of the four restrictor plate races on the Cup schedule.

The inaugural Daytona 500 was held in 1959 coinciding with the opening of the speedway and

since 1982, it has been the season-opening race of the Cup series.

Melbourne Toy and Comic Con:

Join us on for a day full of toys, comics, collectibles, cosplay, face painting, costume contest and

more. Melbourne Toy and Comic Con will be held at the Melbourne Auditorium 625 E. Hibiscus

Blvd., Melbourne, Florida. Admission is $10.00 at the door. Hours are 10 AM to 5 PM. Great
